Going to the toilet during lessons.

Ive seen some silly threads in my time but this one takes the biscuit.  Think i'll go to back of the class now as i think Missjemred sending me there. 

They’re children, it doesn’t matter if they need to go more than once every couple of hours, especially if you are letting them drink in class.

Makes no sense to me;

Don’t let them go to the toilet as they can go at break
Let them go get a drink during lesson
Don’t take a drink bottle out with them to get at break
Has to stay behind at break to finish work which then takes away the time they are allowed to go to the toilet

Is it school policy they don’t go to the toilet during lesson, or is this you saying?
Personally I think you’ve had it in the neck from a parent or something and now looking for justification. Though why you have come on to a Liverpool Football Club forum to do that I’m not quite sure.

It is not school policy that they can't go to loo in class time it is teacher discretion.
I have already said a parent was unhappy because I made her daughter wait all afternoon.

If they stay at break they still go to the toilet.

Ah okay so it’s not school policy and it’s not actually within your rights to stop them going to the toilet then. Glad we’ve cleared that up.
