Serious. I believe Alisson will be worth at least £150m in a few years. Keepers have a longer career life span than players. Though I find £66m expensive in today's market, I'm sure if Klopp and John can improve him, he can be easily be worth £150m in the next few years.

Having tasted blood from the £142m Coutinho sale, we are now essentially buying a goalie with resale value of £150m. Those owners are smart people.

Fekir will definitely follow. These players are world class and they will go for at least £150m in a few years. They won't bat an eyelid to pay £50-100m now assuming £150m is the guaranteed resale value.

Is this not the difficult part of the transfer window juggling who stays, who goes, who you want, balance the books come to think off it whats Liverpool's weekly wage bill going to be in a couple of weeks if all this clicks together ,Ox out for a year is going to open another door IMO

Not entirely. But to justify paying a world record fee about 2x the current record fee for a goalie, they've to somewhat think along those lines to release the budget.

I'm also saying that they're not blind and would have calculated these things when paying this price.
