I’m pleased that we nicked a point today after not putting it to bed in the first half

34% possession which is poor at home but understandable as we were trying to play on the counter, unfortunately the forwards were not really on their game today.

67% pass accuracy this highlights our issues with no one able to hold onto the ball in midfield, we were just losing the ball to often and not giving the defenders a breather. It's great having midfielders who run hard in midfield, Can, Milner, Hendo etc but when fatigued as it looked like in the second half these players don't have the technique or guile to hold onto the ball to take the sting out of the opposition.

Obviously doesn't help that the players on the bench also offer f**k all in controlling a game.

But it seems like Klopp is not to bothered on this front.

Isn't bothered ? suppose that is why Coutinho played in there and why is after keita

Clear as day,DIVE. Hope it’s followed up by the disaplinary guys and he gets a ban.
      Won’t change the result though.
Even though we went off the boil in the second half, and they were on top, the aim of the game is to score goals. They couldn’t as we defended well even though out midfield and forwards were misfiring. Have to say, blistering hit for their first, but can anyone tell me why every little nudge in the first half earned them s free kick, and we were getting chopped and getting nothing. Ali fouls TAA I think it was, and nothing done. That was s border line red !
Fist pumping from the Lino 😳
summed it up really, spurs were not gonna leave Anfield with nothing.
The officials clearly had an adgenda with that.
Dissspointed yes, but more disgusted with the officials than anything !

Manc? I’m Wirral born and bred and hate ManUre. I’m a realist. Jamie Carragher agreed they were both pens FFS! 2nd half - we were average

So Jamie Carragher is the final word on all decisions? Some of us have the nous to make our own decisions based on what we actually saw and not what we are required to say by our contract with said TV company! The officials were a disgrace today! Yes, we were average in the 2nd half, but that has no bearing whatsoever on the decisions!

Having only listened to it at work I reckon it sounded like we were lucky to even get a point, bit getting home and looking at the penalties, I feel hard done by, the second is a joke and the first, admittedly probably was, but the fact the referee gave a penalty he wasn't 100% sure about, because of the pressure of it taking so long to come to a decision, he should be pulled on... you can clearly hear that both of them here had no idea if Lovren had touched it, and you see him not even wait for a response from whoever he speaks to on the mic at the end and gives it anyway because of how long its taking...

Ludicrous that people are complaining about 2 clear penalties. We were very lucky to get away with a point today.

Just read that that c**t linesman is season ticket holder at Spurs (post the link later when I get back up and get to work). If that is true, Spurs need to be deducted a point, us given all 3 points and that c**t linesman ref and Moss that other c**t, need to be banned for life.

I just finished watching the game. Sorry but that’s our 3 points. That was the biggest load of bullshit officiating I’ve ever seen in ANY sporting event I’ve watched. Not just the horrible offside no call on Kane’s penalty (which was a dive) but the final penalty call as well as tons of missed calls throughout the game. Pochettino has a lot of nerve celebrating like he did after that horseshit penalty call.

I hate Spurs and it won’t happen soon but I hope they get relegated at some point in the future.

Believe this is the ref that sent off Mane for the high boot, yet doesn’t send off Davies for a high boot on Salah? This guy I hope doesn’t ever ref another of our games ever again.

If Lovren touched it hes onside whats worrying is the footage and the ref does not know if he touched it so he surely cant give it

Great game just run out of steam, that's the first time we really missed Phil, needed to get a Two goal lead but no one with a cool enough head to take the chance. Ref got the two penaltys right but he gave Spurs everything.

We're run out of steam earlier than we normall do, and Klopp recognised it with his early subs. Just feels like we we robbed so disappointing

What happened to if your not 100% you cant give it which every panelist that commentates on every football game worldwide spouts , it's bad enough them saying that between the both of them but to say it on TV just makes it more sinister, anti Liverpool ?  would they have given it if it was Man U City Chelsea both officials must be brought before the FA to explain there actions ,which condemns them before it starts so a World Cup final last minute you never saw it but give it anyway bollocks utter f***in bollocks

Mate I am not 100% me self! But going off Fifa on Playstation, that sh*t would still be offside even if it did bounce of Lovren! The desiciosn for offside should be given the moment it leaves the passers foot... so even if Lovren touched it, that is at a point after the call should have been given.

Looking at the two Penalties after the game the officials probably got them both right, what irks me every small decision he gave to Spurs, two bookings for us for nothing decisions same tackles from Spurs players no bookings
