Dunno why you watch that - don’t think I’ve ever heard him disagree with an onfield decision no matter how stupid it was.

First thing checked was offside. Check Complete.
Second thing checked was handball. Check Complete.
Third thing checked was the APP (attacking phase of play). Incident spotted, and on field review recommended.

Incident reviewed on pitchside monitor. Decision made by the on field referee.
Ay it was and still fcking got it wrong

Oh he has, not often but he does.  ;D

On the Liverpool penalty he states  it wasn’t a penalty, wasn’t a foul and ref should of ignored VAR and stuck by his  original decision which means the guy who lives across the water will agree  :lmao:

Surprisingly  the one at Newcastle ( which looked a cert penalty) he just about sides with the ref but you can tell reluctantly.

Sounds like VAR was working overtime last night in the Ecuador v Brazil match.
Allison was sent of twice both times rescinded , Ecuador had their goalkeeper sent off.  ;D

Alisson was lucky VAR is available during the qualifiers, as without it he wouldn't have got to half time, and he said himself it showed how important it is.

There were numerous VAR calls and trips to the monitor during the game. Even though it's irrelevant, I don't think Sky would be that amused with the 20 minutes of injury time that had to be played, if it delayed the ko of one of their big Burnley v Norwich Super Sunday six pointer shootouts.

Would of been a win - win for us. Less than 45 mins and banned for the next game!!

it was right to the letter of the law. not even sure VAR were involved.

It was wrong though, any handball in the box is a foul ffs. its basic's if they are changing that , what chance u got.

Yeah I agree, as much as I’ve gone off VAR under the new rule ( yet another one ) a player cannot be penalised for an accidental handball preceding a goal unless he scores it himself.

      yup

The rule was meant for someone handballing it on halfway line or something, then var goes back 10 passes and disallows it.

Last night was daft tbh. handball helped with the assist. ;D

Just seen it, I would go mental if that was against us. The handball clearly helps the player get control of the ball. Shocking decision to let that stand.

      Yeah very strange.

As you said the rule was changed so that goals like the one we scored at Spurs last season (where Bobby accidentally handballed it on the halfway line) would be allowed to count, not ones like last night's where the handball lets the attacker control the ball.

      Still funny as F**k though!

The main concideration is did he get an advantage from the handball wich he did therfore the goal not have stood. Truly shocking fronm the officials

What gets me though is this accidental bullshit VAR come out with.  :f_doh: Players often give fouls away that are also accidental with no intent yet there sill classed as fouls which are given. It’s obviously to you/me and many others there was a advantage given yet allowed to play on.  :f_steam:

Unfortunately VAR looks like it’s here to stay and common sense no longer exists.
