1 of them, Cootes the c**t has to refer it back to on field Ref coz he knew it was blatant but hates us that much, he didn't have the balls to give it!!!

He can't give it, that's why. He referred the ref to the monitor, and left the rest to him. That's what he's supposed to do, and if he did it for VVD two years ago, nobody would say anything about him. He had nothing else to review.

I don't understand what is controversial about it. It's clear and obvious to me.

I'm the same as Klopp I'm over it. Bit then again I don't hold Howard Webb up as some type of hero.

Don't know why you're inventing fake news about me holding him up as a hero. I don't care about him, but as he's the head man, people are going to talk about him.

What I do know is, you're not over it, nor is he, and neither is anyone else. Hence why it was, is, and will be dragged up at every opportunity, like it's still breaking news.

Again, I'm counting my blessings last weekend that we have VAR available. I don't boo, chant or whistle during the process, I just sit there (usually listening to Steve on LFCTV running through his checklist of the VAR calls that went against us down the years) and wait patiently for the ref to do what has to be done. Unless it's a goal, I don't cheer when we get those decisions either, I'm just relieved to see justice done when we need it most.

So it's official; David Coote, all is forgiven.

Pathetic week again for our officials, the are inept, when will they give up, all we talk about they are killing the game

Remember when I was a kid referees were just allowed to referee the game. Linesman were just allowed to flag for offside. And everyone just got on with the game.

No silly var. No silly 'interpretations' of the rules. No media circus turning the game into a circus.

Not one rule change aside from the tackle from behind or the backpass rule has benefited the game.

It's a f*cking shambles.

Well I was in residence last weekend with no replays available, and we had a goal chalked off by VAR. It  looked like a check was needed, and it was done. Disappointing to see it ruled out because it was a great move, but it was right.

It's Platini's leftovers such as this idiot, that make my life difficult when explaining why VAR works the way it does.

Probably the same idiot who insisted 10 years ago when Terry cleared that Ukrainian shot away  after it crossed the line during the Euros, that we couldn't have technology in football, as it would be chaotic. Now we have it. And probably the same idiot who told us 2 years ago that there could not be any audio announcement of VAR decisions because it would be chaotic. Now we have it. If chaos is not a negative, what's the problem?

It's fiascos such as at Spurs that cause chaos, because of idiots like him.

Are you saying VAR represents order, or chaos?  Even allowing for the ambiguities associated with chaos, according to the second law of thermodynamics, all systems (including VAR) will tend to progress in the direction of increasing entropy.

Everyone has had enough of var. It's ruined any enjoyment that was left in the game.

VAR has now reach the same stage for a goal as it does a murder scene. The forensic team are out in force to do anything to upset the true meaning of football. 

Every week they make more and more mistakes, even having to ask the refs to go to screens to make offside decisions, woefully poor referring time to get shut of

I have never read so much claptrap in defending a system that is just not working due to inept officials monitoring the damn thing. It will not happen, but either put proper people in to officiate it, or just bin it and go back to football as we once knew it.
