      Wrong.

      Wrong again. Your specialist subject.

Even in the off season when there's not much going on, I post when there's something to talk about. You don't.

Which isn’t often. However, you only post when there’s controversy regards VAR and even then you come back with all the negative comments to suit your narratives.  :tosser:

Wrong again. You just can't help yourself.

You decided to put up with a miserable time watching football by turning against VAR, as it's never going to change just because you want it to. It's here because referees need it to help them out. What fans or anyone else wants, is irrelevant.

First day of the full season and VAR at its usual standard, deliberate hand ball and second yellow at Ipswich not given and a a soft penalty at West Ham, and  I have only watched Two games

They've gone back to the ridiculous high bar that they started out with... which basically means it will barely interfere even when decisions are probably wrong.

Exactly VAR are just going to back the ref, so what is the point of them being there

Apparently their software wasn't able to be upgraded in time to use it yet :lmao:

VAR can’t look at second yellow card offences 🙄

First sentence of the new season, and already something's wrong with it.

Expect more inaccurate rubbish written about VAR as the season goes on. The usual standard.

Like the Premier implanting the Uefa model but not having the software until Chrimbo

But you don't mention that either. Some would say your take on VAR is myopic

I don't have to mention it because it's yet more rubbish. After the October international break is the current target date. Soon enough.

Also I don't care when it turns up, as long as the correct decision is made. And that we're not ranting about Sterling "offsides" given at Manchester City again because some nutcase doesn't want VAR ruining his game.

One problem there... we don't always get the right decisons with VAR... how's that different to just letting a human ref the game? Can you honestly say with a straight face VAR is always correct?

In his defence, he doesn't claim VAR to always be correct.

He may defend the indefensible but he does admit that VAR isn't 100% accurate just that it's more accurate than human error.

At what cost though? The games sound has definitely been stripped back since it’s introduction… and if it’s not going to offer perfection I’d rather have the excitement back.

That silly  kunt across the water will say its the right decision.  no red card.  :lmao:

Not only is that a Red card that is dangerous & violent conduct, it doesn’t matter he got to the ball, it’s the intention, two footed tackle in the air ffs, two seconds later he could have snapped both of that fella’s legs/ankles, he’s virtually jumped on the ball two footed, I’d be retrospectively banning that Cnut for the rest of the season!!

      Disgraceful behaviour!!

I’m not in favour of VAR meself mate and would rather see it binned off but that doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen any time in the near future at least. So I try me best not to get het up by it.

But my original point was regarding the across the water lad, who despite defending VAR to high heavens, and god knows he has to with the amount of stick it rightly gets on this forum, has never said it’s 100% accurate.

It's not going to happen in any future. This is part of match officiating now. After all the noise last season, not a single other club supported the stunt raised by Wolves. Why should they when 96% of refereeing decisions are now correct?

What are you bawling about? With the current interpretation of the laws, the ball strikes him clearly on the arm, therefore the VAR decision was correct. You can't give goals scored with the arm, in any league anywhere in the world.

Good to see though that Robinson spotted it this week, because he didn't spot the intentional handball in our game the  week before, while he was on the pitch. Aside from that, that handball decision kept us clear of both clubs in the table.

And as a bonus from last weekend, VAR spotted the cheating manc thinking that he conned the officials in their game. Which he did, but not the VAR.
