I'm not making excuses, I'm dealing in facts. VAR is all about facts, and is only making decisions in this league on a factual basis. Subjective calls are left to the ref on the pitch to decide, as they always were.
We don't know how different, if at all, the Chelsea game would have been. What we do know is, the ghost goal had to be ruled out for offside, and it was. We also know that both sides scored one goal each afterwards. They are the facts of the situation.
