McManaman reckons United should of had a penalty which online official agreed. However, Maguire did push Prickford slightly first. Was it a penalty? VAR get it wrong again?

That swing of the boot by Pickford was far naughtier than the push by Maguire and yet again the T-Rex small armed c**t gets away with another dodgy decision.

But don't they say the first offence/foul is what counts? Not defending Prickford just trying to figure out who's right and who's wrong.  :f_doh:

VAR don't use streams to make decisions. They use calibrated lines to decide what an offside is. The best technology there is available.

People wanted the law to be changed after last season, so it was changed. If they don't like the law, they can change the law. Under the current law, that is offside. That's it.

We've had 3 decisions go against us in our last 3 league games. I didn't like any of them, but I had to take it, and get on with the rest of the games.

Good bad or indifferent, the offside law is what it is. A bad decision is allowing an offside goal to stand and the other way round. A correct decision is not giving a goal that is shown to be offside.

All the goals given in this league are now in accordance with the laws of the game at the time, and the results are what they should be. If you dont like the laws, you can change them. If you don't like VAR, you have to live with it or watch some second rate league where refereeing errors are accepted and tolerated. That's just the way it is.

I think what he is getting at is that by the letter of the law it is offside. VAR isn't the issue, it's the fact that the law is.
