Amazing how just before HT every Liverpool player calls for handball in the box. Did it even go to VAR? Never showed a replay of that incident, then that Manc biased Ref c**t, with their shout for a pen, runs over to the Monitor, doesn't even look at it for more then a second and confirms penalty.

They showed 2 sh*t angles of the incident and that was it!!!

It's an agenda, it just has to be!!!

The raising of the leg by Trent was all the excuse the ref needed to give the pen.

He may be from mancland, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. 4 million live there and they've got a lot more than 2 clubs to support. Besides, he's given us decisions and penalties before. Vital ones such as Mane v Leicester, or Lovren v Palace last season, just two of his to mention. His decisions are rarely in the headlines which is usually the sign of a good ref.

Let's be absolutely crystal clear here, his VAR at the weekend did his job to the letter. He did all the checks, recommended an on field review of the incident so it was reviewed. The rest is up to the ref. So in this case, the rants can stop immediately because VAR bears no responsibility whatsoever for his decision.

Amazing all the complaints about VAR taking too long to make such decisions. Now we complain that it isn't taking long enough. Can't have it both ways though.

I'm sure he will post later and confirm it was offside  :f_doh:

Seriously though what hasn't already been said that will be said again. Most fans don't like it anymore coz it's just completely ruining our game. It's the new norm as they say. I much prefer the old system

Standard now Keith for VAR to make at least one joke decision per game resulting in a disallowed goal.

It's sickening how VAR is being allowed to continue to ruining our great game.

I remember how shocked we were when cheating and diving was introduced here from the continent. Today we are now world leaders at it and is actually part of training!  VAR is yet another tool which is being allowed to further dismantle the game when it could be used to send off those who clearly dive or cheat. ( until you see the Son incident which promoted it!).

I'm truly amazed it's actually being allowed to happen. Every week we see ex professional footballers on TV left scratching their heads in dismay....yet it continues unchallenged. The good old days have all but gone.

As has been said it’s all about interpretation, even tho the technology of VAR was meant to rule out erroneous decisions/interpretations of in game incidents.
One individual passes judgement rightly or wrongly on VAR images, completely by-passing the very reason the technology was implemented.

Like so much FA reasoning you could not make it up!

Anyone catch the west brom goal yesterday? They decided after about 5 minutes that it was offside after not having a good enough camera angle to draw a line from the scorer. It looked like they drew a line from the other striker who didn't touch the ball instead and gave offside against him.
