Haven’t had time to read previous posts but just saying, that was a worldy from Karius. That was a goal as soon as it left mateys boot.
Ox playing well also. Everyone else, just what weve come to expect now.

The Hendo discussion is interesting, but my issue with him is how far out of position he is without the ball time and again - and that's when we have the ball and when we don't.

He's the base of the midfield. Don't get dragged out. If you do, the whole defence is exposed.

      Does my tits.

He's not good enough plain and simple and the simplest way to see that is how much he splits people's opinions on this very forum.

If he was good enough hardly anyone would call him out virtually every game.

No seriously, in modern football. You even expect cb to get you a goal or two in a season.
And have you seen firmino running back and defending and putting in tackles and defend.

This isn't the 60's, you have liquid formation where players change the sides in the game. Like Salah and måne changing sides in the game.

And who says a DM shouldn't provide a assist and goal here and there? Seriously I do like Hendo as a person. He is a pro and just do his job but that doesn't mean he is good enough for us to start every game. We can't defend our players, just because they play for us. At a Liverpool forum, people should be able to say who aren't good enough.

I fully understand the concept of a liquid formation. We have a 'liquid' front five, if you want to call it that. Henderson, when he plays, isn't part of that liquid front five.

Some players do have a fixed position, even in our formation. Henderson is one of them and he mainly only moves forward when we're pressing, not to provide goals and assists.

How many goals and assists did Lucas put up every year? Not too many, yet he played his role fantastically. I'm not defending him just because he plays for us, I'm defending him because he's doing what he's told to be doing. He actually does have a pair of goals and assists next to his name so far this season I think?

I said he isn't world class, but he is good enough to wear the shirt, whether it be as a starter or squad player, that's up for debate of course.

That’s 5 assists for Ox now don’t think he managed that much in his whole career with Wenger!
Starting to show what he can do game by game.

Even cbs are part of a liquid formation, when the make a run forward and the DM covers them. Virgil is doing it time to time.
I think Hendo is good enough for a squad but not a starter.
I am gonna watch the game, I respect your opinion but I don't agree with it at all.

Karius with a poor clearance and look who’s there to clean it up, everyone’s favorite whipping boy Henderson.

Like he did mignolet you mean? Think Henderson's days are numbered myself. We're never as free flowing with him on the pitch.

His "ball recycling" slows us down. He gets the ball passes it back to van dijk who then plays the forward pass Hendo should have in the first place.

Mane has done a lot of work off the ball to keep probing and testing their defence all game. Very deserved goal.

Great flick through from Bobby.  Second half has been a lot more open than the first.  12th game in 13 we've scored 2 or more.
