Henderson's biggest issue is his confidence. His self-belief is very fragile and he is the type of player who would worry about the crowd moaning if he plays a forward pass and over-hits it or it gets interecepted etc. When things are going well and he's in the groove so to speak, he's actually a top player. The trouble for me is that when things get difficult he often goes into his shell and plays very safe easy passes that carry virtually no risk. I'd love him to do well for us but unless he gets a bit more resilience into himself I just can't see it happening.

For the record, all my post regarding Hendo isn't solely based on this game but generally him as a player.

Sorry mate have to disagree,  look I think he has had an average game, and don't think he's good enough.

You think he's having a great game and is good enough.

Let's just disagree and move on.

I urge you to find the passing charts on opta stats after the game. It will literally show you every pass he’s made, it’s length and where on the field

But they do tho, Diego. Here and there means rarely but it happens. Busquets is more attacking then hendo in every aspect of the game.

Nah they don't. Busquets goals usually come from the fact he's very tall and in set pieces is like an extra central defender up there. Rarely ever scores from open play. And he doesn't make many assists either. His career best is 4 in a season, same as Hendo last season having played nearly 1,000 fewer minutes. https://www.whoscored.com/Players/44721/History/Sergio-Busquets

I personally don't think Henderson has been at his best, for me he was superb last season in that same role until his injury. This season he took a while to get going.

So when did changing sides with a long pass become difficult? A game like football is really difficult to dissect Into stats.

I would really appreciate one more goal so I can finally get a perfect in the prediction league

It’s not the difficulty of it, it’s the denying it ever happens I have an issue with

Too open to interpretation isn't it. Should just have a straight up rule that if it hits your hand or arm it's a pen

Busquets is a better player then hendo, even he doesn't get a assist or scoring. He will roll on the ground to get his team a free kick. Not saying it's a good thing, just that he is a more attacking player then hendo. He will create more then hendo in the bigger picture.

Compare him to the best dms in the world and the picture says it all. When it comes to statistics, football is really a simple game. A ball and teams where they both try to score. You will always find stats to back any opinion. I'm on my phone, so I refuse to Google and find stats to Comlare Hendo to fernadinho or kante.
The bottom line is I think hendo isn't good enough to start for us every game, there isn't any stats who can convince me other wise because I watch every Liverpool game.
firmino's assists and goals stats won't be that impressive but I wouldn't swap him for sure now.
