Matip has looked so dodgy this season.

Think the defence as a whole has started pretty poorly to this game. Matip caught out by the ball over the top, Moreno with two mistakes (poor ball into midfield and selling himself at the side line) and Gomez hasn't been particularly good in possession either.

Lallana a bit rusty with the pressing game.  Had his hands wrapped around one of their defenders a minute ago when he got nowhere near the ball.  Can be forgiven.

Subdued atmosphere and performance so far, but 5-0 probably does that.

Passing so far absolutely atrocious. I fully understand not giving 100% in terms of pressing, but F**k me, at least get the passing right. Matip, Lovren, Moreno all with absolute sh*te passes.

As for the game it feels like the last game of pre season. That's fine by me. Hopefully Ings gets 45 mins . Not sure if he would have been in the line up but I would have liked to have seen young Woodburn get some minutes tonight, think he might be ill though.
