When I see the list of names that make up this quarter final lineup the football fan in me feels a bit embarrassed at seeing Man City's name there. Let's remember that when all the other 7 teams were at the high end of European competition a decade or so ago, Man City were f**king about at the other end of the Premier League playing David James as a f**king striker.

Their presence is hollow and entirely without merit - a complete sham status threatening to enforce their sham status on this competition. Their forceful financial doping of competition has slurred and corrupted the prestige of competitions like these. They are a lightweight name with heavyweight pockets constructing a fake history for fake fans. No amount of pretty football played on the field will hide those facts.

Get what you're saying mate, but Madrid have been doing a "City" long before City tried it! Madrid have, since the beginning of the European cup/ Champions league tried to outspend all the other clubs to ensure success. That's the most Likely way to achieve it unfortunately!

Anyway, I would much prefer to play Sevilla than ANY other team, but they seem to have the Angles smiling for them in the CL so far, so maybe it's best to avoid them, there's always a surprise team, and maybe it's them this season.
