They've had 3 semifinals between them, only two in the past 10 years though, 2 in the past 20. The first one was a long time ago.

So both teams have their local derbies wedged in between the return leg just to make it more interesting.

City can wrap up the title that weekend too...

Here's hoping that the giddiness of winning the title against the Scums at Etihad would make them soft.

Last time we played Home first in the knock outs was Chelsea right? Got knocked out after losing first leg.

In all seriousness, away 2nd leg might not be a bad thing if we win our home game, they will be more edgy defending, and away goal rule....

Agreed there are pros and cons for both.

Does anyone know when we'll find out if it's April 3 or April 4?  I'm in England on April 3...fly home to Canada April 4...so this is important!!!!!

I really don't mind this draw at all, we have shown that we can beat Citeh this season, and previous seasons, even in the first match we were well into the game until Mane got sent off. Also they will be probably be in a slightly more relaxed mood, especially if they wrap up the league against Manure.

I firmly think that they will be more nervous of facing us than vice versa, now that I would put money on.

Another plus is that either Real Madrid or Juve will get knocked out, those were the teams I really didn't want to face.

Unless we get absolutely hammered or have given them a hammering in the first leg against Citeh then we must field a weakened team against the bitters, we should still be able to get a draw against the blushite anyway as they'll just look to park the bus.

The derby will be moved back to Saturday,  no need to rest anyone

Was kind of hoping Swansea would get something against United so it might be done before then.  And I'd imagine a weakened City side could still do damage against United at home.

Guardiola's got a record of resting players before CL games and it's not as emotional a game for him as it is for the fans IMO.

Where is this Manchester place ?

Not going to be easy but we sure as hell can beat them over two legs. Klopp really needs to groom Gomez now at CB position in the couple of games we have got before City. Can't afford to play Lovren against them especially when a single goal can make or break the tie.
