From last PL game just one change - Milner for Henderson.  Think that says a lot about where Henderson is in the pecking order.

It's the right team IMO.  Just have to deliver the goods on the pitch now but wouldn't change a single player in the side.

Milner is playing his best football and we should extract his form until it's still available :)

The team I would have picked and that more and more is picking itself.
Always uneasy heading into this game at OT.
I have a strange and somewhat irrational belief we will nick this 0-1 but I hope I'm wrong and we put 5 pass them :-)

MY first non streamed game since xmas due to relocating, Optus tv (Australian tv) providing live premier league games and pre match programmes just have to stay awake till 1am (not a problem for a LFC fan! But an ageing knackered one may have problems).

Tight game in my opinion 2-1 to the redmen, but secretly hoping for a massacre(We're due one!).

Yep, deffo says a lot when your captain is left out of arguably the biggest domestic fixture of the season.

COYR let's smash these off the park!

This timing is as good as it gets :D

It's also on SBS HD (channel 30) rather than relying on SD Optus TV.

Very surprising no Hendo - club captain, played well last week, and Can seemingly on his way out? Maybe he's carrying a knock.
Would rather Matip than Lovren to be honest as well.

Anyway, still fancy us to win. COYR!

100% the same as I would pick! Our strongest 11. Interesting he picked Solanke over Ings for the bench. We can't keep both Solanke and Ings once we sign a Coutinho replacement.

Starting XI: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Milner, Can, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Subs: Mignolet, Wijnaldum, Gomez, Henderson, Lallana, Solanke, Matip.

Jürgen Klopp has made five changes to his Liverpool line-up for today's Premier League meeting with Manchester United.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk return to the starting XI at Old Trafford.

Georginio Wijnaldum is back on the bench after illness.

As much as Lovren gets stick it was Matip that looked the poorer of the two against Porto.
Think it was Matip that took the ball out of Karius' hands at one point.

2 players that will change things for Utd v LFC.

Salah. He changed the dimension of play when he came on v Porto.
Every time the ball was near him he seemed to come out with it, like velcro.

Big Virgil. Porto, a lot like Utd, played with 2 banks of 4 and moved like a wave from one side of the pitch to the next.
So many times Firmino was sat out wide on his own and a long diagonal ball would have opened up Porto,
yet Matip and Lovren would pass back along to each other and by the time the play was switched "the wave"
had moved to cover Firmino. A quick diagonal ball would have stopped that. Didn't happen against Porto.
      Virgil should change that.

Another thing missing v Porto was a late runner into the box, some pressure from midfield.
A few times the forwards fought to win a ball only to have the chance wasted because nobody anticipated that.
Salah being in the Front 3 will change that, but I also think Ox playing would also change that as he is quite
      aggressive and direct.

I don't think Gomez had a great game either tbh and would like to see Trent back in against Utd.

                                Karius

        TAA       Lovren            Virgil            Robertson

                                  Can

                  AOC                           Milner

      Salah                Firmino                      Mane

      Happy with that.
      Our strongest XI.

His fitness is questionable. I'm guessing Hendo will start against Watford next week.
