Yeah, great day-after glow going on here for sure.

Even after the match I think Klopp was making all the right calls, praising the team for its performance but making it very clear that while it is better to be up 3-0 than down 3-0, there is still another 90 minutes and that the team must stay switched on.

I think the bigger challenge will be physical, given injuries and the demands of a match on Saturday (although City have the same challenge). If we have to drop another player, two or three into the squad, I'm heartened to see that so far, each player called upon has delivered.

Because setting off fireworks is far more serious an offence than racially abusing black players. Anyway, moving on, win or lose this tie, I believe last night has done wonders for our recruitment attractiveness. If a player doesn't want to play in front of that crowd then he's in the wrong sport.

it was outside football grounds so Uefa don't have any jurisdiction. It's a local police matter.

New regs. 12a. Look it up.
Club is getting fined in May by the looks of it.
If precedence is followed expect a 6 figure fine.

They were also set off inside the ground, and not just on the stands but literally inside. Whatever, it's a small price to pay for such incredible atmosphere.

When it says "crowd disturbances" do they simply mean pyro? There was no crowd trouble inside last night, was there?

Just listened to the pre match YNWA on the 5 live commentary via iplayer. Absolutely magic. For some reason, radio commentary has a better way of conveying the atmosphere as opposed to tv commentary where the sound of the commentator is the be all and the end all.

What sucks is the few dickheads who put a little black eye on tonight's win, is going to draw an equal response when we go to the Etihad. The aggro from the City supporters to the Liverpool away might get ugly.

Let them, I hope they try and brick our coach, just to see VVD hanging out the window heading all the bricks away!!

We got fined for singing "Oh Manchester is full of sh*t" back in the Europa League tie at Old Trafford, so I'm genuinely not arsed and UEFA can add on to our naughty list they keep on us. Must be incident number 10,350 by now!!

Brilliant atmosphere last night, the celebrations for all three goals were F***ing boss.

The whole back line was superb last night and considering some of the sh*te Lovern has been given this season, he was F***ing brilliant last night along with my personal motm in Trent. Considered our weak link, but stood up and gave a huger performance against Sane.

Big up to Oxlade- Chamberlain, wasn't too sure on his transfer when we bought him back in August, but scored another F***ing cracker against City.

      Roll on next Tuesday.

      C. 20 hours on......I think the 2nd half was almost as enjoyable / rewarding as the first.

Ox goal was the best of all games yesterday. Lineker going mental on Twitter saying Pep was going to get sacked and propper bigging up the Ronaldo goal. What a Flibbertigibbet.

Just heard my father in law who is 86 on his way to the game he goes early, but the ground wasn't open till an hour before the game was speaking to another older person, when the bus arrived and a copper pushed him luckily he hit a wall other wise he would have fallen over, shameful.

Winning first legs at home generally see muted celebrations, as everyone knows it's not the end of the story. Plus the game finished at 4.30 in the afternoon, I'm sure people had other things to get on with, and save the real celebrations til next week.

I dusted off the Road To Istanbul DVD earlier in the week, for the first time in years. When we beat Juventus at home, there was barely a ripple of applause at the final whistle rather than wild celebrations, as I think most of us assumed at the time, that the road would only go so far as the second leg. The win was enough in the end, but you can't really blame people for seeing it as merely half time.

The fines probably go in a slush fund for the EUFA big wigs.

We can claim we kept a clean sheet because you know...we did?

      n*b.

      Oh dear.

So if a team plays badly, concedes 5 simple goals that they should defend, but horrendous officiating negates each goal. Would that be a good performance?

The fact that we got lucky, should not mean that the 2nd half performance was good. It was poor. Had that goal been allowed, then City would have put us under more pressure, akin to the 4-3 game. We invited on the pressure, relied on good fortune, and kept the clean sheet. But on another day, it could have fallen apart.

If you can't see that, then fair enough.
