VVD has a lot to do with Lovrens improved form but still happy for Dejan as he has had a lot of sh*t thrown at him since he joined us.

Probably the most complete Liverpool performance I have seen in many a year. A game of two halves indeed. Master class in attack in the first half, masterclass in defence in the second half.

I actually said in the pre-match thread that a 3-0 for either side wouldn't mean the tie was over but I much prefer to be the team 3-0 up than having to come from behind.

Think we can score at City.  A result that will make people across Europe sit up and notice.

TAA has made me eat my words. Gave him MOTM. Thought he'd been exposed a bit against Manure and CP. And might again. But he wasn't, he did super, Sane probably their best player was kept quiet. In fairness there was no long knocked on balls to contend with - but for a young lad, it was an excellent performance.

Salah is a concern, and Hendo will be a loss thro suspension.
Will be backs to the wall at City next week, but we just need to score one - then they need 5!

Not to take anything away from TAA, because he was immense, but notice how we would have a 2nd player supporting him as soon as Sane got the ball and forcing him to cut in? That really neutralized him!!

Anyway, so many MOTM performances, but it's a toss up between TAA and Milner.

I haven't posted for sometime but anyone remember 2005 ? so proud of this club right now
