      Well that was boring.

Solanke and Klavan didn't cut it for me.

Love Klavan, and Solanke will get better.

Not the worst result but the lack of quality when we rotate our front three is alarmingly poor. Needs sorting in the summer.

      Will settle for a draw.
They had a lot of pressure there in last 15/20 mins.
Pity, cause full strength we win that handy.
      But we have other priorities.

No new injuries which is good.
      Another clean sheet.
I thought Clyne did OK coming back.

Ings and Solanke though, I'd put them behind Origi who we let go - they just haven't and are not producing when we give them chances - that was a poor Everton side, a striker with something about them should be making their keeper work a lot harder.

Focus switches back to the big one ...

Not really bothered at all by this what with bigger priorities.

My only concern however is, what if we do go through v City.  We going to be seeing weakened teams every week?  Wouldn't be good if a top four place ended up slipping out of our hands because of it.

Imagine serious injuries to Salah/Firmino - dread to think were we would end in the league.  Need to add some serious depth to our attack this summer.

Chronic game. Shows are lack of real strength in depth. As much as I'd love to see Ings & Sol do well here, they look like mid table players at best.

Hendo very poor today, no imagination. Milner my MOTM. Others put in a shift as well but just lacked any spark of imagination in midfield.

Would have lost today with Mignolet.

      Thought that.

Can easily imagine Mignolet not even moving for that Bolasie shot and loads of people giving it the 'there was nothing that he could do about that' treatment.

Honestly, Solanke and Ings are a waste of squad space. Harsh, but my honest opinion. They will never, ever get a run here but I have absolutely no faith in either of them doing the business when required. We need much better back up.

Thought Raggy had a decent game for a centre-back playing left back.  And arguably him covering Milner gave us most of our best moments down the left wing IMO.

I don't see much future for Solanke at LFC at all. That's not to say he doesn't have a future in football, of course he has, and it may even be a decent career. But I don't see him getting the chances he needs to develop at a club like Liverpool. Because he seriously needs to develop. He may have excelled at youth level but then again so did a lot of rubbish players that turned out to be nothing. Sometimes kids develop earlier but they're soon caught up. Some never really adapt to the demands of the professional game.

I wish him all the luck in the world but I am just honestly saying I don't see any sign of a future LFC striker in him.

Absolutely. I knew they were sh*t, but I had no idea they were that bad! Imagine if we had our front 3 playing, Salah would have gotten 3+

Gave MOTM to Karius - world class save to contribute to the clean sheet. Didn't get much shout outs mid week due to him not having to make a save but he was as much a reason to our defensive solidity on Wednesday as any other player claiming balls and coming off his line to catch efforts that would have been allowed to fester for the opposition in the months and years prior to his ascent to number 1 keeper.

Me too. Especially given the fact that he's not played much in the last few months. A professional job!

My thoughts exactly. The complete lack of courage they showed to have any sort of crack at a Salah-less light weight version of our side was staggering.

No injuries, easy run out despite not getting all the candy. Time to make us dream a little louder on Tuesday.

Gave MOTM to Milner. Could have given it to Gini, but again thought Milner was brilliant and was the straw stirring the drink again. No coincidence that their best patch came when he was done for the day.

Doesn't bode well for Moreno long term here if Klav is getting the left back spot before him. Clyne did well coming in after being out so long.

Aye with Theo and Ox in the taxi before kick off too.

I think we were right to rest players but if we progress we cant keep resting key players cos Chelsea will catch us up. At some point we have to play 3 games in 6 days with syrong teams.
