Ill avoid getting into the chat about formations, tactics and who plays. Simply want to post my best wishes to the lads and management for a massive game tomorrow.

Klopp will trust himself and his coaches to go with the right players in the right formation. Every confidence no matter if we win lose or draw well be in the semi final draw.

Looking forward to a roller coaster ride tomorrow. Best of luck redmen

I can't fathom a situation where I will not sh*t myself tomorrow night. My blood pressure still spikes from the moment I remember Chelsea 2005. Surely it won't be as tortuous as that?!

Might have to try some of that stuff AussieRed keeps going on about.

Just play pretty much the game we played in 1st leg. Sit off, let them pass it around at the back, but pressure them at the right times. Catch them and break with some numbers.
Worry might be that we get caught in two minds, not really wanting to attack, but not defend deep - and let worrying about loosing our lead get to us.

We are going into this in a good position. VVD has made us a completely different proposition at the back. Karius has stepped up too. One goal, and they need five. They've had two loses - doesn't make them less dangerous, but if we get in about them, their confidence might be a bit more suspect.

First 20 mins are really important. Don't want to concede early and let them get their tails up. Pity Hendo's out, need guys to keep their heads and manage the game - and even if we go a goal down, not get rattled. Good that Milner is available, he's be great in the CL for us so far.

Going to be on the edge of the seat regardless. The CL is keeping the season interesting, we get thro this into the last 4, we've as good a chance as anyone of winning it. We F***ing deserve to be in the last 4. We ARE good enough. Just go out tomorrow night lads and do us proud. Know for sure Jürgen will do everything he can.

      Good luck

The second 20 minutes are important too, followed by the important 5 minutes before HT. The second half is equally as important as a the first half too.

A major word of caution is the ref on Tuesday,  mateu lahoz is spanish and absolutely f**king terrible,  so bad he makes some of ours look good

We had better get RAFA to have a word with the ref prior to kickoff.

The worst thing we can do is go there like every other team and sit in and look to draw. That will not work.

We need to go there and play them as if its a one off semi final and we need to win on the night. And if we do that we will go through. We might lose the match but I cannot see it being any worse than us losing a 3-0 lead.

One away goal. We get one and this is over unless we are complete bottlers!

We should play our usual high press and high intensity game and im sure we will get the goal we need. Even if they win 4-1, we still go through.
Our team is not set up to play deep defensive minded football, we have trouble dictating the tempo of the game...so instead i prefer they play their natural game.
Gini in for Hendo, will help slow things down a little, he also knows how to win free kicks, same as Milner.
Make no mistake, City will come at us and try to get us rattled, so the boys need to be brave and take the chances when presented.

They wanted to win on Saturday, however showed their vulnerability when put under pressure. Another thing is that the last few matches which caused us defensive problems were from long ball teams (both flick on goals), a tactic which City does not employ, so it also makes me fairly confident that our defensive shape will get us through this tie.

I expect City to win the match, but i expect us to score at least one goal tonight...so im going for 3-2 to City.
Its gonna be a cracking game, enjoy it fellow Reds.
