Massive game for us and we need to be on our 100% concentration. If we believe, we can achieve!

Team picks itself however wondering if Clyne may start over TAA.

Gini will be the #6 in this game, not Milner.

I think we should not sit back and invite pressure. Just get the goal and then we can relax. They are not scoring 5 unless we go down to 10 men again.

We need to play as if it's the first leg. An away goal is essential! Klopp must make sure that we are not complacent!

It was such a weird day yesterday never have I really not given a flying F**k over the Derby (just wa ted Salah and bobby rested, nice one JK)and no other injuries.
Getting a point and the blueshite still
Awaiting a victory since god knows when was a bonus.
Then the Manc Derby, again, never in a million years have I ever wanted the red sh*te to win a game of football but yesterday I did.
And for them to do it in such a dramatic way which must of destroyed the city players and fans was a added bonus.
      Very weird day indeed.

How does the team pick itself.
Klopp picks the team and you're debating if to play Clyne or TAA it doesn't pick itself.

Personally I would go with TAA because Clyne was not impressive yesterday.

We do have a dilemma in the middle of the park, Emre Can will be fit. Ox Milner Gini or does Can come in for Gini with Hendo being out?

Gini playing No6 yesterday suggests he will be the deepest midfielder on Tuesday.
And too be fair he looked decent, his ability to play in tight spaces cf to Hendo!

Clyne was fine yesterday , you deliberately go out of your way to be contrary and antagonistic.  Can isn't fit

                           Karius

      Taa      lovren       vvd         robbo

                                  Gini

                     Ox                     can

        Salah              Bobby       mane

They will come at from the start need to stay compact an hit them on the be real for that away goal.

Really impressed with him, but it was vs Everton, and City as we all know is a different kettle of fish! However, as you mentioned, he showed something different to Hendo playing as the deepest midfielder. Was very composed and able to break through the lines, but I was most impressed with his distribution! Defensively, he held his position, but difficult to know if he's good enough as Everton were sh*te.

In your opinion Clyne was fine. Other people noticed how much we benefit from TAA.  I genuinely believed Can would be ready Tuesday but obviously not. I'm not sure if the back injury is fake with Juve setting deadlines.

Yep, he did just fine, defended well, didn't look short of pace and put in a couple of decent crosses as well. Really good to have him back. Ditto on Can, I don't believe he has a chance to be available for this one.

As for Gini he did well in the 6 shirt, no doubt in preparation for Tuesday night. He will have Milner and Ox alongside him so we should be ok but we'll miss Hendersons physicality and also his leadership (which has impressed me recently). God thing is we have Van Dyke and Milner who both have some volume in their game.

I really hope we approach the game in a positive way and pick moments to press their back four. One goal in that first half will take the sting out of the whole tie. I don't think Klopp will fancy our chances of sitting back and having a repeat of the 2nd half the other night.

Hopefully Robbo is fit to start, otherwise might see TAA on the left and Clyne on the right. Gini as #6 played an assured game on Sat, more of the same please.. Going for a 1-1 draw!

Why what happened with Robertson? I can't find anything on him.

Calf injury (minor) from Wednesday, hence didn't make the squad for the derby and Moreno picked up a thigh injury in the warm up yesterday.

:lmao: For being in the box for whole 90mins without leaving for a coffee or in the case of Karius for a photo-shoot.

I'm half expecting Pep to play 3-5-2 considering he left both strikers out of the derby.
