      Pre-Match: Liverpool V Bournemouth (14/04/18 - 17:30)
      Apr 12, 2018 12:37:27 pm

So after the dizzy heights of Tuesday night its back to the bread and butter on Saturday. Realistically, it would take a lot to happen now for us to drop out of top four but it would be nice to be able to rest everyone in between the CL semi finals and a win here would make that easier to do.

Would love nothing more than a Salah hat-trick after Kane getting that goal he never touched! Would also like to see Milly rested as he did some running Tuesday.

      4-0 Reds.  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

3 1/2 days between matches this time. The players won't know what to do with themselves.

I expect the challenge for this one will be more psychological/emotional, after such a high on Tuesday night. This won't be lost on the  coaching staff of course and they will likely be extra certain to have everyone focused on the job at hand.

Not sure about any freshening up. I get PGlynn's comment about Milner and Henderson will be available again. I know Robbo and Mo had to come through some minor knocks before the city match so perhaps Jürgen has to be cautious over them. That would mean Moreno and I guess Danny Ings if so, but hopefully both are fit to go from the start.

Looking forward to another match from this supremely entertaining team.

I don't think we will rest many players. Expect Henderson to come in for Gini or Milner but aside from that we'll go with the same line-up I should think. We haven't got anybody on the bench anyway!

If someone up front is rested, I want to see Woodburn ahead of either Solanke/Ings. Those two have been dire.

Hendo probably comes in for Milly? Clyne for TAA?

Usually a good game this. Looking forward to it.

Think Klopp is more likely to rest a few the following weekend at West Brom as we'll have the semi-final on the following Tuesday ro Wednesday. That's worked out quite nicely actually.

Hendo for Milner, Gini back to more of the "8" role
      Clyne for TAA
      Klavan for Lovren

Score a bunch, and then let the front 3 get some minutes off

I just don't see the point in not playing them. Rest them next week against WBA instead.

And no point in resting them in both games as then they will get rusty. Footballers want to play and they should all be buzzing at the moment.

Hendo for Milner and Clyne for TAA should probably be the only changes. Keep collecting the 3 points!

I agree with, I wouln't rest any players unless they have a knock from last game. Top four is secured with 3 home wins so, if needed we can rest players next week, need to make sure we win this.

Anyway wouln't be surprised if by half time we're 2 or 3 up so Klopp can make some changes to rest players for the semi-final.

      My prediction: 3-0.

Henderson for Milner as he probably needs a rest but I'd look to keep Gini as the deepest midfielder again, I think he's better than Hendo there. Apart from that I'd keep it strong and rest at WBA like people have already said.

Bournemouth no pushovers, will always put up a good fight. Think that there could be a few goals, with the Reds coming out on top.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would rest Salah, Robertson, Milner and Trent. We need them so much in other games. I think that we that line-up, we will win comfortably.

I like that too. Yes, he wasn't good in first half but none of them were. IMHO he played really well 2nd half with not too many side/back pass as compared to someone we know very well.

I go for 2-1 to red men.

Back to business this weekend. No slip ups can be afforded. Let's get three points on the board, hope Citeh sort their sh*t out and don't have four defeats on the bounce and beat Spurs so we can finish above them in third. I think 3rd place and a sixth European cup would constitute progress, don't you? ;)

That would be the most obvious choice of matches, especially as they are virtually certain to go down, now.

We want to finish as high as poss. 4th finish and we have to play qualifying rounds. When we won the Champions league in 05/06 we had to play Total Network Solutions for crying out beleedin' loud in the first qualifying roun, full name........

So no Clyne then.. Guess Hendo comes in for Milner, and may be thats it! Expecting a couple of academy lads to make up the bench again..

      Mane Bobby Salah
      Gini Hendo Chambo
      Robbo Virgil Lovren TAA
      Karius

Subs: Migs, Moreno, Masterson, Milner, Woodburn, Ings, Solanke

Injury List - Lallana, Can, Matip, Clyne, Klavan, Gomez

I agree with that, Solanke and Ings have both had a decent amount of chances now without threatening the goal very much so lets see what some of the youngsters have to offer.

For this match I'd pick as strong a team as possible, its very important we don't let Chelsea get a sniff of 4th place. I think we'll batter them 3 or 4 nil.

Disagree about those Academy players. At this point in their development, very questionable whether playing in the first team is deserved or even a good idea. Most of them playing regularly with the U23s didn't even start until we sent all those boys out on loan in January.

Ings and Solanke will still get chances for the rest of this season at least when rotation suits Jürgen, or injuries  require it.

Is something going on with Clyne?
