Win the game and top four is all but secure. Our last game was on the 14th and the players being rested until Roma is too much of a gap if you ask me so I'd play them here.

Then hopefully beat Roma and rest first team for Stoke and back to Rome to finish the job  ;)

We need 3 points from West Brom if only to keep the pressure on Manure. After their result against West Brom they could be in freefall and it appears there is quite a bit of unrest in their squad.

Should be a win for the Reds, in this game. The main thing is no injuries, with the game against Roma next week.

Rest the full backs (maybe Milner as well) and don't risk Lovren.

Should win it but WBA will be up for having a go so might not be a thrashing.

Say I'm a scary cat, yes I am, I won't feel comfortable until we are 100% certain of top four. So, I won't rest on our laurels but play our best 11. Overtaking Utd is a bonus but lets not get obsessed with them as they are with us. Furthermore, they have beaten Utd away, so they will be all charged up for this game.

Strongest 11, may be Klavan for Lovren with the latter on the bench.

I’d go with the same team feom the opening post except Lovren, I wouldn’t risk him.

Won’t be an easy game but hopefully with out front three we can be 1 or 2 up after 60 minutes so some changes can be made. Even if Chelsea win tomorrow if we manage to win that game top 4 will be pretty much in our hands.

Same team as against Everton, we need to protect our key players for Roma.

This and Chelsea are probably the two more difficult tasks of our final four games.

Advantage to this one is the week off we've had - disadvantage being the fact these have still got a chance of survival and our impending Champions League semi final.

They beat the Mancs at the toilet last week - kudos for that - we couldn't manage that this season and we also couldn't beat West Brom, or even score against them at home when they were arguably in a worse state.

For a team on such a low points total - its possibly surprising that they've only lost 7 games at home.

Despite the league table then - this is not going to be easy.  I want us to get to 80 points in the league but it wouldn't surprise me if the way we got there was a draw here and then 3 wins.

      NB: Team no longer available

I know, Klopp won't play like that but if I was the manager I would play that and rest most of our starting XI for Tuesday.

Ings and Solanke do not deserve their place but they are our second options.

Anyone else noticed that Sky were advertising the game with a split screen of Sturridge and Mane?
Not sure if Sky don’t realise Sturridge can’t play or whether they figure nobody outside of West Bromwich would be able to identify anyone in the squad other than him!!!

I'd rather play Salah/Bobby/Mane from the start and bring either (or all) of the front three in you put there Clint in the second half, think they'll have a bigger impact playing from the start.

      It always happens.

When a team seem to know they are going down they play with abandonment and freedom.

Years ago  Sheffield Utd couldn't win a match to save their lives but once "relegated" well before the end of the season they played amazingly well ....out of their skins.
      No pressure on.

Dangerous game for us the Baggies especially with us having one eye on the following week.

      We'll get the win ....

WBA might play with a bit more determination after their win at Mancheater. If they had showed the same attitude earlier in the season they mightn't be in the mess they are now in. Biggest mistake, giving Pardew the job.

We must play our strongest team and I expect us to do that. A win, not necessarily an easy win.

      1-3.

To be fair, Rodriguez is not a half bad player and scored against both us and the mancs. Would take him here over Ings, Solanke and Origi. Oh and Sturridge for that matter.

I wouldn't play our weakest te but I wouldn't play our strongest either. Rest the full backs, we don't have much other choice than to play some of our starting centre mids. As for the front three I think Firmino and Mane will start

If we play a weakened team and lose. If Chelsea then win their game in hand the lead is down to 4 points with Chelsea still to come.

So any thoughts of playing a weak team is a no-no. We need to go there with strength and get the win.

Probably right but we do have an early kick off so:

Saturday: Almost full day rest after match
      Sunday: Full day rest
      Monday Full day rest
Tuesday: Game day but late so again lots of rest until game

We need two wins from four games to guarantee top four. Win this and then we can rest all our players in the Stoke game.

I disagree, the Stoke game is far more winnable than this one, even with our first XI. I still think we can win this with a weaker team though and it would be a great chance for Solanke, Ings and Woodburn to impress.
