I'm a bit concerned that everyone seems to be writing Roma off and has us in the final already!  I've  got Utd mates telling me it's nailed on!!  These clattered Barca 3-0 so can obviously play and will be very tough.  They know Salah so will presumably have a plan for him.  All things being equal, we should have enough.  The old European adage applies, don't concede at home whilst hopefully getting a couple of goals.  C'MON YOU MIGHTY REDS!!!

I'm personally not writing Roma off,they deserve there place in the semi just like the reds,they are a very good side & will pose a significant threat but at the same time if I'm being honest I thought city was the tougher tie,admittedly we are  more familiar with city & how they play with them being an English side so in that respect Roma will be a different kettle of fish but I'm still confident of us getting to the final .

Crazy nervous about this one, to go out in the semis is heart breaking, almost worse than losing the final.
I'm going for a 1-0 win tonight, then a 1-1 draw next week.

This could be a tricky tie over 2 legs. They have got some really good players. Our defence against Dzeko will be interesting and our attack against Allison, I guess we'll see how good he really is. Personally  if they go 3 at the back I think we'll be ok. We've had some success with teams playing that way in Europe, well we blew Hoffenheim away anyway. Hoping we keep a clean sheet but I can't see it somehow. Big game for Karius tonight I'm going 2-1 to us.

Italians are famous for defending, bu ti do believe we have the players with ability to take defenders on and beat them which should open up other options.

Whatever the results in this game and in Rome, I'm already very happy. I'm not expecting too much, I don't expect us to come this far but we did and whatever better than this is definitely a bonus. We're a top 5 club in Europe, so we're in the elite class already. Let's stay 100% focused and grind out the results. Roma is not unstoppable, their ammunition is in midfield and high crosses into the box. We win the midfield battle and cut out those crosses into our box, we would have neutralized their threat.

In the Barca game, Roma moved swiftly from their own half into Barca's half and next the ball is at Dzeko's feet. We need to distrupt them in midfield. Let's hope the crowd outside the stadium don;t do anything stupid.
