Disappointed to not get the 3 points.  But delighted to come thro a game against Stoke at this stage of the season with no injuries, given the threadbare-edness of our squad and the 2nd leg we have coming up next week.

The CL matches are such high standard, so high tempo, it's only natural there will be a dip in between. And we don't have the players to come in and give the main guys a rest, and do the same job in the PL. Injuries, plus some more work to do for Klopp this summer adding some depth.

You wanna lay into Gini and Hendo after their performance against Roma, go f**k yerselves imho.

We're still in the driving seat in the PL for top4. Not making it easy for ourselves. But we have yet another huge CL game in a few days, so onto that now, put this behind us, and try and make it to the final of theEurope's best Club competition.

So we draw against Stoke - doesn't mean these are not good times :)

Just annoys me how teams like Man U, Spurs, chelski,  seem to find that last minute goal against teams like these, and games like these.

Either of those teams would have been awarded a penalty at the end.. and scored it.

How Liverpool conceded a penalty with Milner, and didn't get that is just ridiculous. His hand actually moved towards the ball.

What a joke ..... we could actually miss out on top 4 after a hell of a season.
Could have gone second with a win.

Too many minds thinking about later in the week.
What if that were to go wrong on us ?

Season could end up as a giant fart.

Give Virgil the Captaincy now and take it off sideways man.

Saw Klopp using his hand and showed Milner to slice forward, just goes to show how hopeless is hendo and wijnadum. Don't think I want both in the team next seson. When keita comes round it's bye  bye to either one.

Deffo mate, think the captain is possibly losing his place next season myself. At least Gini is relatively good in tight spaces and holds the ball pretty well when needed

I wonder how much those 2 late Roma goals sucked the momentum out of our performance.

If we lost against Chelsea but beat Brighton we'd still finish top 4, no?

If you can beat City 5-1 and Roma 5-2 then the only reason you draw against Everton, West Brom and Stoke is because you haven't put enough effort in.

      Simple as that.

Agreed there was a lack of effort. But clearly the lads were more focused on avoiding injury. They are desperate to play and win the Champions League. Their minds are on that game, and they want to ensure they are injury free for it.

No point in throwing yourself into a competition for the ball with these fouling Stoke lads when you know you are risking an injury each time.

So many crosses into their box and we stood behind their six footer defenders, This needs no coaching,

Yes, unless they manage to overcome the difference of +18 on GD.

It's too open to interpretation, I'd rather they just give it for hand ball regardless of intention in cases like that.

The only time it should be in doubt is if it's point blank range with no chance of moving away.

Some common sense on this forum for a change, it was always gonna be a draw after a high like Roma !!

Dead right. Still such a privileged position and that's not even factoring in the fact that Chelsea have to win all theirs.

Aside from the referee I'm just disappointed by the conservative play today and the lack of running on show. As poor as Mariner's refereeing was you can't use that as an excuse when your team puts in an effort that can only be described as 5/10 at best dictated by a passive midfield display.

Won't say it any differently and I noticed Klavan brought the ball forward on more occassions then Hendo. That shows how bad he is. I I  am Hendo I would pick the right time and occasion to bomb into their box but he did nothing of such for 90 mins pus 6 mins. I'm sure there are plenty other players much much better then hendo in the league. Time for an upgrade next season, long long overdue.

Klopps to blame for it. As good as he's been, His subs in the last 3 games have been sh*te.

Yep, Klopp 100% to blame for Salah not taking a glorious chance and for individual errors vs WBA. F***ing horrific manager.

Good ol' English refereeing strikes again. But let's not kid ourselves, the drop off in intensity today was not acceptable. Let's hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.
