      Positive from today?

No serious injuries from the game. Everyone got through.

Attacking wise, we have Lallana and Ox to come back, we might be ok for next season. plus we have Keita, who should be a BIG plus

No offence intended but I couldn't give a Monkey's Uncle about next season until this season ends, and this season is ending with some serious squeaky bums. We should have brought in reinforcements in Jan. This isn't hindsight, it was the general consensus at the time. Klopp gambled on the squad we had. That gamble might not pay off, and if it doesn't it undermines all the hard work and progression we'd made this season. The players need to sort their damn heads out because the Champions League is not our best route into the Champions League next season, matches like today are.

How many "awakenings" do the players need?
Anyway it's quite simple now, we need at least a draw against Chelsea, if we get fired up for it, I actually fancy us to beat them and then we can rest players against Brighton.

draw at Chelsea its all over. if not we have to beat Brighton at home, if we cant do this then we dont deserve CL football.

Winning the CL is another option. :-)

One could be enough and hopefully at minimum cost.

Hostile referring, half of our focusing on this match and half on Wednesday's,lack of luck in certain moments, led to poor result which could work as a "nudge" to everyone involved.

Boring Stoke, hope that they are relegated. Certainly not good enough for the top flight.

The f**king idiot got off lightly with just being ignored.
It been said of him over the last couple of weeks how he does not go down unless fouled and he just gets on with things and plays with a smile on his face...
Maybe it is the pressure  he has put on himself and the expectation of the Supporters wanting to see him break the record (Goals scored) that is bringing this side of his character out. Either way we cannot afford for him to do anything that would mean we lose him for the CL final

      when the going gets tough

we start messing up, we should have had champions league sorted by now, too many poor performances and the fringe players are showing that they are not good enough.

i hope that we can get over the line and also win the champions league.

An admirable and honest attitude by Salah, his honesty could be his downfall however with referees like Stevie Wonder who lost us the Stoke game, unless the player cheats and goes down like he's been shot, there's nothing down for him.

Such errors by officials would lead to our genius being the target of attention by some heavy handed defenders confident as they are of getting away with it.

As ever the FA will do F**k all until tragedy strikes.

When the front 3 are having a off day you really could do with others stepping up, esp the midfield.

Need more of a goal threat from the more advanced midfielders.

Maybe young Salah has masked over the terribly small squad we have and its laid bare for us all to see now.  Equally I expect us to go to Chelsea and win the unexpected is part of our way of doing things ,never a dull moment.
Lets get Weds out of the way and just a point at Chelsea will be enough I expect.

You certainly very brave sat behind your keyboard slating people. You know if you only had the balls to talk like it when you're face to face with anyone over 15 you'd likely get decked.

I know, but this season is basically as seasons before, we have depth, but injuries have come to the wrong players at the wrong time.
As you said, the players available need to step up, and show a bit of bottle, they've rode the rollercaster, now its thier turn.
Everything else is out of our hands
