He'll rescind his contract with Sporting.

Bruno Fernandes on a free transfer. Wow. That's an insanely good opportunity we cannot miss

Not to mention that when looking at it from a financial point of view, that’s a top class player, minimum would have cost the same as Fekir, being signed and allowing that money to be spent elsewhere. Can get 2 top class players for the price of 1, something that doesn’t happen very often unless a contract has expired. Surely if we took advantage of the Fernandes situation the decision makers would be more than happy to activate the Oblak release clause?!

Imagine if we can sign Martins and Fernandes on a free!!

We can gladly stump the money for Alisson and a CB..

I see he's in the Portugal squad for Russia, and is the same age as Fekir.

      Scored this goal last Thursday.

He’s a year younger than Fekir.

Absolute no brainer now we will be absolute morons not to offer this lad a contract immediately.

Us and how many other clubs.

Considering his sudden availability, I would think clubs would offer more wages than they would otherwise.

But he should see how well he would fit in with us at the moment...right?

But again, have not seen us credibly linked with him yet.

Well most of the big clubs don't need him whereas we are actively seeking a AM so we would surely be the most attractive club to sign for.

Plus he wouldn't command big wages I can't imagine he's on big money at Sporting.

He is a bit lightweight perhaps but no more so than Lallana.

Diego, do you think he is good enough to be the attacking midfielder on a Premier League winning team?

EDIT: His highlights are definitely good enough.  :)

Have we ever credibly been linked with him?

I do, yes. Of course it's always difficult to make assessments like that, and to be fair he's just had his breakout season, but it's his game intelligence and technical quality that make me confident he can adapt. And playing with better players around him he'd become even better too. I could definitely see him being a real asset for LFC.

Not sure if we've been seriously linked to him, apart from the odd rumour here and there
