Wouldn’t have happened without the Champions League and a brutal injury crisis though would it?

To turn it in it’s head - one might actually say what a great position he’d got us into to cope with the strain of the above and still have it in our own hands........AND a European Cup final on the horizon.

Few beers last weekend and was a bit sunburnt and pissed at the result against the Chavs.
But it's still in our hands.

Hope Jürgen gets our strongest line-up out, gets the lads well up for it, and gets the job done.
The football and the run in the CL has been absolutely brilliant this year, sooo important to be in it next season.
Would be nice too to see Mo get on the score-sheet, be a shot in the arm for him before the final.

Been a really enjoyable season, some great football, some bus parking problems, Cou going, VVD arriving, Salah's performances, etc etc.  Never been dull. The lads deserve to be in the top4, fingers crossed we get the 3 points ...

I can’t see Huddersfield getting anything tonight.
They were run ragged at the weekend by City so I doubt they can do it again 3 days later.

We are going to have to beat Brighton.

 

All we need is a draw!

Huddersfield will definitely look for a draw, cos if they get beaten tonight and a defeat against Arsenal on the final day might ruin their GD compared to Swansea, who with a win vs Stoke will move above them to 17th.

Crazy run-in for the  Premiership this season. Still, do us fans a favor Reds and get a multiple-goal lead so we are not chewing our fingers off in the closing minutes for fear of a late winner by Brighton.

So - basically - Chelsea are in the same relative position as we were going for the title against City in 13/14.....2 points behind and a massively inferior goal difference.

Hmmm......know how that turned out.......

Conversely - we’re 2 points behind Spuds with a superior goal difference......

Room for considerable hope - we need to start realising we’re a team that merits belief right to the end.......

Chelsea had won 5 in a row going into today's game and from the looks of it were unlucky not to come out winners today, so no, i don't think it was just our form that mattered on Sunday.

Super excited for Huddersfield, not just because of Wagner but because it's a small town team and it's good to see them stay in the Premiership. Wonder if Wagner will leave for a bigger job.
