If Lyon have half a brain between them, theyā€™ll wait for the World Cup to end until they sell him.

What if he gets injured at the world cup, for example if France play Spain?? ;-)

Thatā€™s what hey want, the chatter is though that Fekir wants it done before the World Cup and thereā€™s apparently a feeling that the club president wonā€™t want this to get ugly and may be open to doing the deal sooner. Letā€™s hope.

Risky game they are playing. He could end up getting injured which will hamper the fee they could get for him now, or he could have a poor tournament and go for less. Could go either way so I donā€™t know why they donā€™t just take the offer before the World Cup.

Which is why I imagine they will, especially if the player is keen on wrapping up the move asap.

If I was the player I'd be pushing to get the move sorted now so I could completely concentrate on the World Cup and then know where I am going once it is over.

if fekir has a good world cup his value won't go up as much as it will go down if he has a bad world cup.

This one feels like it's going to be Salah part two. Of course if he's half as good as Mo, then he'd be worth the wait.

F**k their brains if he's half the player he's mafe out to be I'd rather we got the deal done as soon as before the cheeky cu*ts try to properly rinse us.

if fekir has a good world cup his value won't go up as much as it will go down if he has a bad world cup.

If he has a good world cup his price will go up a lot more than if he has a bad one, plus as well as his price going up it might also encourage some of the oil rich teams to bid.

Genuinely think this is a banker

A bit like Keita last summer that he's linked nowhere else.. every report you read pretty much we are the club mentioned.. Keita like Fekir is a quality player that many top teams would want and the fact it seems only us talked about just seems like a matter of time to me

Ah, that's the kind of unsourced double-signing rumour that makes my heart go flippety-flop! Thank you Scotia. Just thank you!

Of course now I'm believing for no good reason that it is completely true.

If Twitter is to be believed, heā€™s not in the squad for the France game vs Italy... well thatā€™s what they want you to think...except itā€™s likely just a case of being on the bench so I donā€™t think I will be the only one thinking it means sod all.

Excatly. You know Twitter though, they will have him penned in for a medical on Merseyside by the time France are kicking off.

Completely the opposite. Bad World Cups have F**k all influence on transfer fees.

Team to watch for me. Brazil and Germany both have some major questions.

I wouldnā€™t touch this fella with a barge pole cruciate ligament damage ( torn ACL) that will come back and haunt us , he will not play a full season

Someone needs an anatomy and physiology lesson.
