Henderson, Milner, Van Dijk, Lovren not enough for you then?

Van Dijk and Milner yes. The other 2, no. Iā€™ve said before Hendo lacks the leadership we need, he will be a better player without that responsibility IMO. Lovren showed vs Spurs in particular he hasnā€™t got the mentality to be a leader, as much as heā€™s improved, once his head has gone he looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

      But thatā€™s for another day.

      Theres your answer 5 .

Agree completely . Virgil and Millie yes.

It's just my opinion on them players, Klopp knows far more about the players than us so my opinion isn't worth jack.

so the Canal 5 comm said the deal is 99 percent done and the Lyon manager made a much more cryptic reference to yesterday being Fekir's final match.

Either very good news or building up for a big let down.

Of course none of this is as important in the following week as the final (and me starting a new job tomorrow), but the prospect of adding him and Keita both is exhilarating, nonetheless.

This is what's confusing about the transfer rumors. How can it be "99% done" if we have not officially contacted Lyon? Perhaps 99% done with the player, and now all that's left is agree on a fee with the club? but wouldn't that be tapping up the player?  ???

We can get permission to speak if the club allows.

Either way... until heā€™s doing the Melwood Lean, Iā€™m not celebrating.

I love the profile of players we are linked with since Klopp took over.

Only a few short years ago we were signing dross like Borini, Downing and Charlie Adams.

Now we finally have a manager who can attract the best young talent in Europe.

Bugger, that gives Spurs a whole week to get a counter offer in!! There must be some sort of pre agreement in place, I certainly bloody hope so.

Fekir would be a classy signing, skill and strength!

Its absolutely mouth watering thinking about the different Ps & Cs in terms of the formation that JĆ¼rgen is potentially gonna play, with the addition of Fekir, Keita and possibly another wide forward! We'll have quality players for a 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 4-2-2-2, 4-4-2 diamond, etc, etc.

For the first time ever, I'm breathing easy this summer w.r.t. player additions! Just hoping and praying for a faster Ox recovery!

Not going to get carried away with the ā€œnamesā€ we are attracting as I feel we do this every year and, quite often, we end up with players like Lazar Markovic, who we expected the world of.

What I would say though is, if this is Kloppā€™s man, then I have absolute trust in our manager to get the best out of him. If I had had it my way, we would not have signed Sadio. I then had the audacity to question the boss once again with the signing of Mo. Not again.

One day we are 99% set to sign him (despite having yet to make an offer), the next itā€™s dismissed.

      Joys of silly season.

Granted its only youtube but watching some vids of fekir and fook me I'm salivating at the prospect of keita fekir and ox in our midfield next year, it may not be the biggest midfield but damn there would be some physicality and athleticism right there:
                 Keita   Fekir
                          Ox
              Mane Bobby Salah

That is a truly horrible team to play against

      Good thing we are rich.

Not to mention I think he says the same thing before selling every big player theyā€™ve had. The guy is an attention whore and they are a selling club.

Not sure that is a dismissal as much as an effort to drive up the transfer fee.

Same way, Talisco might be a counterweight from our side. Who knows?

I would like to see us sign Fekir though.
