You were the one being arrogant, comments like oh God why don't people understand.
Like you know what happened and how it happend. The fact is that we all know what has been told in the media and nothing more.
You chose your side and started bashing people if they don't share your pov.

Kenny just pointed that out. It's just a internet forum. You don't always have to win. Let it go. No harm done.

I'm not claiming to know what was said or done, I'm just defending the club IF they tried to renegotiate the deal after the medical was complete, In my opinion that would make perfect sense. I fail to see the arrogance in my statement, its just exasperation at having to explain the same thing time after time.

If people are to sensitive to handle healthy debate then perhaps a football internet forum needs to be classified as outside their safe zone.

I swear, one of the few quotes to come out was from his agent actually saying, Fekir had passed the medical?

A Mahrez look a like ...this lad has bags of talent currently captaining Lyon.
Has allegedly had talks with us .

He's the kind of game changing talent that we lost in Coutinho.

They are different players, although they do both have great close control and are deadly with free kicks.

He's effective in a multitude of positions, which we know Klopp likes in his attackers, and both his finishing and crossing are at a very high standard.

He's been the captain of Lyon and is another strong character in the mould of Van Dijk & Keita.

He treads that line of confidence and arrogance as well, so I'm sure if he does arrive our rivals will love to hate him.

We're still a long way from finding out how the ideal Klopp midfield will look in 18/19, but the pursuit of Fekir indicates we're looking for more options to break down the massed defences we've seen often at Anfield this season.

We are in dire need of some leaders . Its been a while.

We miss Gerrard ,Carra, Lucas, Agger , Pepe  et al.

Bring back Tommy Smith . Red Power.  ;D

Fully agree with all of this post, Iam really worried, re our possible transfers or non transfers!!!
for me too much speculation, not enough actual business, if J.k. does not bring success this Season,
through lack of a strong Bench to change a game, which happened so many times last Year too many draws, loosing us so many points, Klopp said in late May he wanted all transfers done early, here we are 31 days to end of the window. is it just talk Mr Klopp, or is this season really going to be a successful one that brings us some glory. I am keepin my powder dry for now.

I think the club now considering this situation carefully. We may still want Fekir but now the like of Dybala can be better if we can sign him so I would like to wait and believe the club do the best thing.

Would take Dybala in a heartbeat.

Interesting how Fekir is "being protected" ? and not getting that much game time in the World Cup

Do you think the manager should use his own wedge to acquire the rumoured targets?

      Hey welcome to the forums.
I'm no glass full guy, but the lack of signings can be because of wc.
we have strengthen our midfield, and we can do with couple of more players.
But those players have to be the right players to bring in. In end of rafa Era, Hodgson fiasco and Br reign, we started to sign players just to sign players. Got stuck with slot of mediocre players, so even if it irritates me that we don't sign players or we wait. I know that jk don't do mediocre. He want the players he wants and those players are usually quality.
let's just wait and see what happens after the wc final.

I reckon if this deal falls through and Dyabla is a pipe dream, we throw the cash we would have spent at Christian Eriksen from Spurs. Think he would be brilliant in our squad. Wanted him before those Cu*ts got him.

I want a free kick specialist in our squad.

There is no way in hell they'd sell to us though, he is a superb player though.

Virgil is a great free kick taker. Problem is we hardly let him take them.
      something fishy about Fekir.

No sign of him tonite against the Belch. The old dodgy knee?

Fair play to Deschamps, getting to a final with an Arse reject up front and a Manure attention seeker in the middle.

That Mbappe guy looks the part though. As does Greissman.

Think it's more to do with not suiting their system maybe, bit like Dembele. Playing an attack of Griezemann, Giroud and Mbappe (none of which really track back) and then 2 defensive midfielders with Pogba and Kante, guess Matuidi is quite defensive too. But, by the looks of it the midfield 3 are there to first and foremost provide protection to the defence, which doesn't leave any room in the team for the likes of Fekir, Dembele and Tolisso.
