I'd be surprised if he played for us again.

Unless we play on selling one of Gini/Hendo/Lallana which I doubt we are.

Grujic would be a decent signing for one of the promoted teams.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Lallana was going, don’t know why, I just think he seems most likely out of anyone...other than Can obviously.

I was so disappointed by Hendo during the final: absolutely no leadership, no guts...

I hope he loses the captaincy and his place in the starting 11.

I think Klopp mught surprise us by keeping Karius as no. 1.

The priority is finding at least 2 more strikers/wingers like Mane and Salah who can play anywhere in the front 3. Fekir seems to fit this, given that I expect Ox to play more next season.

Will be interesting to see how Lallana does with midfielders that can actually distribute from deep. I for one would keep him.

You know, I don't agree with this, but I also understand it from your point.

Looking at the winning captains from past to present, they are either tactically intelligent and vocal or the best player on the pitch. Hendo is neither, but I don't think that necessary means he is the wrong choice.

Listen to how Jürgen speaks of him and I'd bet my life on him staying. Ox arguably wouldn't have had the amount of impact as he did if Lallana was fit.

      Anyways, I'm F***ing excited now.

      Karius

      TAA
      Dejan
      VVD
      Robbo

      Fabinho
      Keita
      Lallana/Ox

      Salah
      Bobby
      Mané

      Oh yes.

And that's only who we have right now. More signings to come.

The World Cup always plays havoc with early season form and results so with that in mind it's good to know that Milner, Fabinho, Keita and Lallana will all have the summer break to rest up and should be fully fit and raring to go come the first game of the season.

Anyone seen that vid of Felliani getting grief at the game from some Liverpool fans with his representatives on Saturday night, appears he might have been there as a guest of LFC!!

That rumour a few weeks ago could be true.

From Everton to United to Liverpool? That would surely be unprecedented? Not to mention, why in the world would Klopp want an unsound technically buffoon whose only real "ability" is to injure people (either intentionally or clumsily)? I mean I can't stand that tit and if we were to sign him, I'd have a really hard time ever cheering for him. Such a no class turd licker.

Revamping the midfield.....about time. Only Milner offered a near full package of tools but time is working against him.
Can......no regrets letting him walk. Great straight away speed and nerve. Few ball skills. Clunky defense.
Coutinho......despite his astronomical valuation, he should not be a centerpiece of any offense. Relying on 30 meter strikes through 11 defenders has its limits. Tremendous ball skills, tremendous creativity, big leg, lightning quick....but also......slow top gear and zero defensive ambition. Barca will regret their overpay. Happy Liverpool cashed out and even happier the front 3 are the focal point.
Henderson.....a better Can. Fine athlete but few soccer skills.
Milner......the best of the lot. I was skeptical at first....but his value to the team was undeniable.
Chamberlain....his speed through the middle put teams in jeopardy. The guy just needs experience. He was on his way until the injury. Fingers crossed
Lallana....I don't understand the love for this guy. Ignoring his injury history.....yes he has skill but the guy plays meek and isn't a top of the table caliber athlete. Brits seem to always overvalue their own. And of course his injury history should not be ignored...refer to Sturridge. Lallana is strictly depth...no more IMO
The new middies.....athleticism plus ball skills.....a refreshing change (I hope)

OT: Why is Albert Moreno still around? The guy has no business playing defender for any level let alone Liverpool. He needs to rethink his position and find a team that will let him run in space and requires little defensive ambition. MLS?

More OT: For next season, I'd like to see Liverpool's Big 3 be even more unselfish. At times, Mane seemed to be in goal scoring competition vs Salah....and at times Salah was thinking records. These 3 were at their best when they worked in harmony. Tough to complain....but I saw many lost opportunities.

Speaking of which...watching Mane vs the best in Europe, I can now appreciate what a superior athlete he is. Many teams had no answer. Mane's main problem is Mane. A bit self confident holding the ball too long, too many offsides, too many fouls. This guy could be a great if he can bring it all together. I felt the same way about Suarez after his first year at Liverpool. The guy couldn't get his shots on net. One year later.....he carried the team.
Can't wait to see this trio with a year under their belt.....with midfielders that take pressure off them.

      So midfield update...

      Hendo Milner Gini

      To

      Keita, Fabinho, Fekir

That's the best upgrade of a transfer window we've had in my life time (I'm 30 in July)

And to add, so far no sales

Only can forsee Can going, and Solanke/Ings going on loan.

If we get Shakiri, and maybe Breswster stays/Origi gets his chance, that will.also be the best squad depth we have had in my lifetime.

If only we buy a world class goalkeeper, I think we could actually challenge for the league!

Yeah hard to see it if we sign both Fekir & Shaqiri. Squad will be loaded with players up top.

Have to imagine Brewster has been given assurance that he will be in the squad next season. The kid looks fantastic so he'll surely be given a chance.

Don't think we have had a better squad than this since PL era started?

With Fabinho, Keita and Fekir being so good in possession (they along with Firmino could probably play tiki taka style if asked), I wonder if we will see Firmino occupy the striker spaces more often than last season? And with Mane, could he also be playing higher up like how Salah does? Will be interesting to see how our new midfield changes us.

and the best part is we have a world class manager coaching that team. My last wish before the window closes is that new CF you have there as open and we're ready to compete on all fronts next season.

There has been no transfer between us and the Scum ... either way ... since Phil Chisnall in 1964.

(Ferguson continued that impasse with Rafa over Gabriel Heinze.)

I'm sure Jürgen knows the history by now. If he doesn't then he should do.

Jürgen said Gerrard was free to leave for any manager's job except United or Everton.

      I think he gets it.
