The sun was shining in Glasgow today and Ireland has posted a positive comment. Along with today’s signing, this really has been a day full of surprises.

This one came out of the blue. Didn't even think we were interested. He's obviously second choice to Jorginho who will will be going to city but still a positive signing considering Can will be leaving. If Nabil Fekir comes in I can see us having one of,  if not the best midfield in the Premier league with Keita there aswell.

Why is it obvious? Nothing is agreed with City, there's chance for anyone to go in and pursue the deal and we've apparently been looking at this Fabinho deal for the past year, that to me says that Fabinho was the first choice and Jorginho was either never actually considered or was an alternative.

F***ing delighted to wake up bleary eyed about half an hour ago and see this notification on my phone. Getting business done early is a great sign, and the reports coming out about the how and why he signed really impresses me as well. To hear that he likes Klopp, that Firmino had a word as well, and this helped him choose us over other top clubs - solid culture here right now that is really something.

So Keita and now Fabinho signed on already. F***ing bring on next season.

This was my thought as well. Apparently we've been working on it for the past few weeks. From my extensive youtube analysis on both of them, I would have to say I'm more impressed with Fabinho. 

He's a class player, what a signing. shocked he didn't make the WC, but I was shocked when Coutinho didn't make it the last WC either.

Wow... welcome to the club Fabinho!

Plus we've got now two of the most aerially dominant players in the premier league. If you thought VVD was class in the air, Fabinho is as well.

Averages around 50 games a season at Monaco, hopefully this doesn't jynx anything but it's good to see he's not prone to injuries.

Looks a ready replacement for Can. Great to see deals done early.
