Fab is the Dyson in his analogy and the 18 year old who further damaged it was Billy Gilmour.

      Interesting stat:
Pre-Fabhino injury: zero clean sheets in the 2 months leading up to injury
Post-Fabinho injury: 10 clean sheets in 13 games

      What an insightful post!

And in Fabs' 4 most recent games.....8 goals conceded, 0 clean sheets, 1 win 3 losses, preferred pass: to the other team.

      Hmmmmm....

There is a positive: Fabs yet to earn a red card despite hacking his way up and down the field

Not good enough, again. As soon as Hendo is ready to play again, he needs to slot into that role again and Fab needs to take a seat on the bench.

He took time originally to get up to speed and then from memory I think he had a few mom selections. Looks like it's taking time again after his injury. I think with the way we are rotating players this season it's taking longer to get up to speed and the players are not getting consistent game time. Previous seasons we've pretty much played whoever is fit.

To be fair he wasn’t pulling up trees before his injury if I remember right. It wasn’t until he was missing that we actually seemed to start shutting teams out and look to have a much better balance in midfield. There’s been a massive drop from his performances once he got into the team last season to what his performances have been this season.

Just reading that his home was burglarized during the championship celebrations. His car, among other things, stolen (later recovered in Wigan). His wife tweeted that they are alright.

Robbed is the phrase we'd use, used to happen all the time during Rafa's reign, the horrible house-breaking cu*ts would always target things like this or mostly away European games.

The best story ever is what happened to two lads who tried to break into Everton player and now Carlo's assistant Duncan Ferguson's house he found them in the garden trying to break in and absolutely battered them, both got taken to hospital!!

Why on earth don't these multimillionaires get some decent security?? This seems to happen quite often.

Great showing from him today, really defended well on 1 v 1 battles with Werner. With Matip out for a month it looks like he will be getting a few more games at the CB position going forward.

Toss up between Fab, Sadio for his 2 goals and Ali for his 2 saves but led towards Fab, played out of position, had Werner in his pocket and defended like a brick wall.

What a player. So often he flys under the radar, but he really does make us tick. Thankul to have him in the squad and happy to see him get his due.

A Frech commentator said yesterday: Fabinho is a really good CB but even though he's on the field, he's still missing in midfield. I think Klopp might consider having him cover as CB.

This guy...wow. Even tho we saw him play CB before and he impressed then you kinda forget a little bit and the natural fear that comes with not having a natural CB playing in the position sets in. The game started and about 20 or 30 minutes in I must say I was much more comfortable than I have been with Gomez (since lockdown),Lovren or Matip.

Big, strong, tall and yet incredibly agile. Times his challenges perfectly, comes out to meet the oncoming forwards with perfect timing. He did everything right. If it wasn't for the fact that he is such a good CDM and we would miss him in midfield I would say put the man at CB and f**k even thinking about buying anybody.
