Probably taking it as a free hit, might as well concentrate on trying to beat the two other weaker teams.

Although it will now be tough for Egypt with that goal diff that Russia have.

Europa League semi v Atletico Madrid when Forlan's goal at Anfield knocked us out in Rafa's last season.

Quite impressed with Egypt's first half, definitely missing Mo, but so far I think they've looked the better team.

Egypt working pretty hard but are not offering much of a threat when they get in the attacking third. Uruguay little disappointing not moving the ball fast enough and few sloppy passes in the middle. Should be interesting second half.

Either Egypt are a lot better than I was expecting or Uruguay are a lot worse.

Russia will be loving this if the score stays like this.

Maybe we should be looking at Egypt’s keeper, holy crap that should have been a goal by Cavani.

Exactly. Egypt would definitely not have lost, and could in fact have won that had Salah been on the pitch.

      So unlucky.

Didn't think he had a very good game tbh, same with Suarez.

Godin was a beast though, and I'm always impressed with Gimenez!!
