It started with such promise, a couple of chances to each side, then... nothing.

Serbia on paper are very good and Costa Rica was a major surprise in 2014, I was also expecting more from this match so far

Good finish by Kolarov from the free kick but not much of a good game.

Good to see Coutinho in midfield on the left rather than right  forward!

Hoping for the Swiss to win, and win big, here's hoping!

Brazil comfortable - quite leisurely and lovely so far. Switzerland being Switzerland ie perennial no marks at these competitions.

They win a lot of games against lesser opposition and played weak teams in friendlies.

That might explain their farcical progress in the play offs against Northern Ireland.

Two men, one open and he passed to the marked man. Stupid choices like that lose games.

It's striking how experienced a lot of this Brazil side is yet they still feel like a 'new' side.

Commentators didn't seem to pick up on it, but a Swiss player blasted the ball into Silva's face and play was stopped.
Switzerland kicked the ball out and Brazil did not give the ball back to Switzerland. Was I missing something there?

All to do with qualifying games & friendlies.

Russia are something like 50th in the rankings because of lack of qualifying games and only playing friendlies.
