Brazil looking the more comfortable team on the ball, should score a couple more in the 2nd half. The Swiss look poor.

Well that's goal of the tournament so far from Coutinho.

Yet a standard goal for Coutinho.

Brazil haven't got out of second gear since scoring.

It's striking how experienced a lot of this Brazil side is yet they still feel like a 'new' side.
Brazil were just shocking. Losing the ball allover the field. Switzerland just didn't have anything in the final third. They were so wasteful it is amateurish. When two sides are being utter garbage, often something like Coutinho's strike is the difference.
If Firmino was on there he would be pushing the ball into the Swiss half. Not sure what Neymar has been doing up to now.

Brazil are badly missing Firmino. Most complete striker in the Premier League. How did he not start?  :f_tongueincheek:

Brazil were pretty poor after the goal but just don't see Switzerland having the quality in the final third to cause them any problems.

Shaqiri looks ok going forward but he's a lazy fat arse in tracking back.

No way Klopp will sign a player like that.

Salah is obviously in the top 3 best players. Willian is probably top 20. Willian is exceptional because he can put in good defensive work, a lot of strikers can't. In the past Chelsea had a habit of pinching our marque players. It was clever, improving themselves whilst pinning us down. Now Chelsea are below us so we should at least be looking into getting Hazard or Willian. £50m, that way it is a direct message that it is revenge for Torres. Not that Torres was any good for them, but it is the thought that counts?

Wouldn't we all mate but as good as Willian is Salah is twice the player.

I think Brazil have been easy and comfortable. Should have expanded my point earlier - when I said 'new' I mean fresh and youthful yet the reality is for a few of their players it will be their last World Cup. Coutinho and Neymar in their prime - it's their best chance to win the thing in a long time. I know Brazil fans won't accept anything other than world champions but on this occasion they really won't.

Hazard would cost £100 million and a massive salary so that will never happen. He'll end up at Real or PSG.

Willian would be possible but could see him going to the Mancs before us he won't want to be a backup to our front lads who are all better than him.

Willian tends to be content to be on the bench though which is great. We need that squad depth - and Willian would not throw tantrums for Salah starting ahead of him.

      Oh..
I would fancy Firmino to score over any of what is out there right now bar Coutinho.
Still, as good as Coutinho's goal was, his ball retention is awful at times.
I have not seen any stand out team yet, but later in the competition there will be stand out teams.
If Coutinho is still in the middle he will be a liability eventually.
There is just as much chance of his sloppy retention turning into a goal than a wonder strike.

Willian under Klopp could be as good as Mane. Klopp has an affect on strikers that is like a +20% improvement. We need rotatable players.
