Watched Scotland play Mexico two weeks ago in a friendly. Even if it was Scotland managed by Alex McLeish they still managed to look dogshit despite the 1-0 scoreline.

Jonathan Pearce and Phil Neville can't stop banging on about Leroy f**king Sane. Get over it. He didn't do enough for Germany to merit a place in the squad so who gives a sh*t what he did for Man City. Typical English media perspective thinking the Premier League is the centre of the world.

Hirving Lozano ladies and gentlemen. Mentioned him at the start of last season. Very talented young player, I'd have him at Liverpool in a heartbeat! Can play anywhere across the front three and I think he'd be able to play the Firmino role pretty well too.

Lozano, the player I said we should get instead of Lemar since he was half the price and better, has just netted for Mexico against Germany. If only I were on the transfer committee.
Lost the chance for a bargain now, he's coming out this world cup expensive.

Cracking game this one so far, the Mexican pace on the break making the Germans sh*t themselves.

Muller has been living off reputation for the last 5 years, how he got to the WC instead of Sane!!

Yup Draxler has been a waste, the sooner Reus comes on for him the better for germany.

Mexico playing well & a good goal from Lozano, if they could play the right ball at times they could of been in front by more than one goal. Expect the Germans to step it up in the second half. Could be a good open game 2nd half.

Loved the story about the Mexican coach watching Houllier training sessions from a house overlooking Melwood when he was a student at John Moores.

      C'mon Mexico!!

Great story that. As it is the quick transition from defence to attack from Mexico not too far from Ged's style at its most effective! Been reliable in defence as well.

Keep making all the wrong choices whenever Mexico attack, same as the first half. Would love a second for Mexico as I still see Germany nicking a spawny equaliser.

      Been a good game though.

Mexico v Iceland would be some good game later in the competition. Germany and Argentina are yesterday's superpowers.
