Having watch the "England Managers" documentary last night its no wonder we have done sweet FA other than Italia 90 and Euro 96.
Graham Taylor and Roy Hodgson, Glenn Hoddle and Fat Sam as English managers. Add to that the Duffers in the FA and here we are 52 years since our last and only tournament win.
So other than the players saying they can win it I doubt anybody else believes they can.

Well that time has arrived again!! 4 years in waiting we go again!! Will support them, cheer them, celebrate if/when we score. Will England do what they always do? Fill us with passion, excitement that this is our year. England World Cup Champions. Sounds lovely doesn't it.  ;D

Controversial stance to take on this forum.... but come on England!

Quarters or better and we can be reasonably pleased.

      Typical modern day commentary hyperbole.

De Bruyne is an absolutely cracking player, but these days on telly, everyone has to be the best ever if they do something good etc.

Yeah, same. Panama's defence doesn't look good, but lucky for them the Belgian's look sh*t in attack ;D.

I also don't get why they play 3 CB's with all the talent they have in midfield and attack.

Didn't know where to post this (apologies if it's been posted somewhere else) but this article by Lukaku is absolutely brilliant (shame he's a Manc who's played for Everton!):

Not sure about this lineup. I thought a front 3 of Rashford, Vardy and Kane would be good but only Kane starting. I'm not sure what Sterling adds at all.  Walker and Trippier both right backs I thought?

      I thought you watched England?

Even I know they have been using walker as the right side of the 3 cbs and the chance of vardy starting was virtually nil

90 mins of Young checking back on his right foot to cross.

Danny Rose is miles better as a LB or LWB.
