Hopefully he can score goals to take points off some of our rivals.

Good luck to Ings. Good guy all around from everything you hear and wish him well.

Being on loan this season means he can't play against us, right?

Wouldn't be surprised if they've waived that given that it's a prelude to a permanent deal - but maybe you are right.

BTW, what a lovely tribute from Klopp to Danny. Who wouldn't want to play for our manager?

Best of luck to him but can some one please explain this deal to me, a loan that turns into a transfer, why don't they just buy him now?
I think its a sh*t deal for us because what happens if he gets injured again or if he has a great season and his value sky rockets, are Southampton obligated to sign him next summer whatever happens?

He’s not a 20mill player, never will be. They have to sign him next season regardless what happens, even if he’s out all season with an injury, they have to sign him. Struggling to see how this is a bad deal for us. He wouldn’t have really offered us much and we will be getting a good fee for him.
