Actually I don't think there's a good enough camera angle to say the ball was out. This is where you need cameras on all of the lines so that you can see the ball in relation with the line. VAR has some growing pains. If there's not even evidence you have to let it stand.

I thought so too, but since there's no camera angle straight down the line, there's now way to be certain. Since the ball has to be all the way out, it's not just where the ball is contacting the ground, it's the entire circumference and I don't think you can say 100% the entire ball was out.

Nah, not from the angle you are looking at. If you are looking at it down the line the "fat" part of the ball may very well still be in. That's all I was saying, I'd not bet any money on that ball being completely out.
