I was watching that match yesterday and debating which team I would rather win, because Ajax and probably also Juventus would beat City or Spurs in my opinion and when we get past Barca in the semi's who would I rather we face in the final! The surprising conclusion I came to was that I'd prefer Juventus to win. Ajax have an incredible energy about them and if they play like this then they can certainly get to the final.

Anyway first things first, lets get to the semis by beating Porto.

Spurs obviously have a great chance but it could easily change. The fact they just need a goal for City to then need 3 is a bonus. As good as City are, the goals haven’t been flowing much recently - hopefully it stays that way!
If Spurs get through then I think I Ajax will get to the final, I just think City will have too much for Ajax if they overcome Spurs. But as Alfie said, at least Ajax won’t just sit off City, they will actually go for it.

Me too, I think City still have a bit of a block when they come up against the so called big teams (like Juve) and this would have made a tie with Juve more difficult imho.

Still they've got to get past Spurs first. I'm not sure whether it's better for our title hopes if City go out tonight or not? A defeat would really take some of the wind out of their sails BUT it would enable them to keep the squad a lot fresher for the remaining League games whilst we would be juggling our relatively thin squad for the league run in and a potential tie with Barca.

Imagine facing City in the Champions League final and also having the Title race go down to the final match of the season! Don't think my heart could take it!!!

I watched Ajax v Juve last night, first time I’ve watched Ajax. Holy sh*t, they tore them apart, their passing was so quick and movement everywhere.

Absolutely brilliant story and they have a great shout of making the final.
