Does anybody know if this is better or worse for us? I wanted City to just go through tonight and give enough motivation for Tottenham to win the league game.

I hope they can hold/beat them again in the next game.

The least amount of trophies they win the better, they are still going to drop points in the league and we'll win that too.

Frees up their run in on one hand . They can concentrate on the league run only

Other hand it depends if this flattens them.. which I don't imagine it will to be honest

Not sure how this effects City but they looked emotionally broken at the end.

Hopefully it plays into our hands.

The way they lost tonight will hit their pride so badly. They thought they won it at the end and then it was snatched away from them... that’s tough for the players, fans and manager to process mentally.. PLUS.. that was a physical game, they must be shattered after that.

True, we might have to rely on Man United (vomit) to take points off of them, although maybe Spurs have their number after this, similar to us last year.

Spurs still need to secure a top 4 finish, and after beating City in the first leg and then from coming behind twice to get the win on aggregate confidence most be sky high about now... League game will be a stormier

After that, all I can see is City looking to destroy Spurs. Payback.
