If we don’t progress in this competition I would love to see Ajax lift the cup..

But then again we could meet Ajax in the Final & beat them.. 😎

How come on VAR we get no replays and just have to watch the ref?

If Sky can give us a replay in seconds why can't VAR?

Ajax have been amazing, a very young team, but they’ve played with real quality and would thoroughly deserve to go through! Hope the rumours are true that we are interested in David Neres, an amazing young talent.

Seeing that repulsive human being Ronaldo dumped out of the competition but it makes it all the sweeter when it happens at the hands of one of the classiest clubs in world football history.

By virtue of their European Cup wins and their influence on the world game, Ajax will always be bigger than that rabble from Turin.

Same would have preferred Juve win as they have a better chance (hopefully) to knock out City. I fear Ajax style will play into their hands.

I wouldn’t be so sure, they’ve already put out Real Madrid and now Juventus, they’re young and fearless and have energy to spare.

Ajax would definitely give City a game. They press very high and City hate that, they struggled against Swansea when they done it in the cup. Hardly any team in the Prem give City a game because they are too scared - Ajax are fearless as F**k.

But to be honest, I reckon Spurs will do a job on them tomorrow anyway.

He hardly touched the Ball from what I saw mate. I’m not denying his goal scoring ability (it’s on another planet) but you watch Ajax and how hard they work for each other. Ronaldo just goal hangs.

The two best teams went through tonight.
Best teams tomorrow are Liverpool and Man City.
If both go through, that's two serious semis.
Hope Spuds can do the job on the night though obviously.
And we need to not be complacent, get the away goal and be professional, which would be quietly confident we can do...

I've given Juventus a watch on more than a couple of occasion since January, mostly in Serie A. I have to say, every time I watched them I couldn't wrap my head around how this team is considered favorite to win the CL. The level of play was simply not there. They were winning the games I watched them play, but I saw nothing that would prompt anyone to believe they are good enough to go into the CL games and be dominant.

I thought ''okay, this is probably because they have virtually wrapped up the Scudetto and they don't have to force themselves too much''. The Ronaldo hat trick against Atletico Madrid also made me think that ''yeah, maybe with him in the team and them putting it up a gear or two, we'll see this team doing what a lot of people seem to think they're promised to do''.

All came crumbling tonight. Without falling into the trap of thinking that the players around Ronaldo are just bad or something like that, I think that thinking/saying that more than a couple of these players are very overrated is a fair shout.

How do you play two different CL ties and only one player in the whole team gets on the scoresheet for both of these ties? The defense...porous at best. Emre Can... the more I watch this guy at Juve the more I feel like we did a great bit of business by not offering him a big contract to convince him to stay.
