Looks like Salah, Mane and Grujic will get their first runout tomorrow  night. I see Klopp also plans on having those starting look to play 60 minutes or so, instead of splitting the group at 45. That probably means some rotation between the starting lineups from Man City match to Saturday vs. United.

I wonder if he hopes to give all 29 players a runout in one of the two upcoming matches.

Can add Wijnaldum to that list too, looks like he is fit and should get 45 mins of football :D

I tried watching one of the other ICC games a few days ago and it was boring as sin. I'd probably feel that way about our games if I wasn't a fan, but since I am, I am eagerly looking forward to kickoff. Hoping for a good performance, regardless of scoreline.

      But goals are nice too.

      Karius
      Clyne, Gomez, Virgil, Robbo
      Fab, Milner, Gini
      Lallana, Sturridge, Jones.

Remember, Jürgen says at least some of the starters will keep playing into the 2nd half tonight.

There are 13 subs, including two keepers

Possible lineup once all subs are in:
      Grabara
      Camacho, Phillips, Klavan, Moreno
      Grujic, Chirivella, Woodburn
      Mane, Solanke, Salah

Ojo is also on the subs bench so maybe he (or one of the others) is simply on standby duty in case someone has a knock.

Don't think he has a sore neck, why play a trump card in a pre-season game, play your best hand in the big games.

We started the tour with 29.

Naby out with a sore neck as Dan Mann mentioned.

Too soon for Shaquiri. Matic has already flown home with a knock.

Lazar and Origi are left out. I suspect that is not a coincidence, because for these games, Klopp could still list them in the squad.

He is being sold to Chelsea to fund the Allison transfer.

      Fab-Milner
      Lallana - Gini - Jones
      Sturridge.

Hoping to see Lallana part of the midfield and more centrally to see how well the midfield and attack links up without Keita.

Maybe switch Gini and Adam. The fullbacks still push up in 4-2-3-1 so that would work.

Hopefully Keita being out is an extremely rare occurrence.

10am beers in the airport watching the game. Can’t ask for more.

Love that Jones continues to get himself in these starting XI’s. He’s done so well for a young lad.

Hope Gomez can start to show signs he’s actually a CB. Has no better partner alongside him.

Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, Lallana and Sturridge don’t get knocks. They’ve looked promising so far and we need them this season. It’d be typical for either of them to break down.

EDIT: soft arse Europeans complaining about kick off times :f_tongueincheek:

Agree with all of this. One thing about Jones....how long before Owen, Fowler and to a lesser extent, McManaman became first team regulars did we know much about them? I sure didn't. Not predicting he will break through to the effect that those players did, but I guess you never really know how decisively someone will take their chance. Love what I see so far, at any rate.
