Firstly, didn't say a singly X-Ray can pick up muscle injuries, that I don't know. I just started X-Rays, plural can.. in technology such as CT. I didn't say it was the scan of choice over MRI either. It does sound logical that players would use MRI due to no radiation, but I was under the impression they were less clear than CT scans. Hope that's the end of that, I'd rather it stayed in PM.

       :ontopic:

I don't want to discuss this here it is the Jürgen Klopp thread, not medical science thread.

If you look at medical staff in the other champions league game, Vertonghen, that was just an examination. Klopp relies on medical staff of course, but it's really only possible to know healing time from a muscle tear from an x-ray. I doubt he'll get an x-ray for small injuries because of the radiation. Doctors only really offer x-rays when it is very necessary, small muscle tear is not one of those times... It's likely it was just physical examination so it would be down to checking with Firmino how he feels on a daily basis. I doubt he was feeling the injury or he would have not got on at all, but the caution he shown does make sense because there wouldn't have been an xray to check for minor injures. I think he could have got a bit longer though, maybe 30 minutes or something.

      Stop F***ing lying.

An expert has just informed you that you are wrong.

Try a little humility for a change and wind your F***ing neck in.

Understand what you are say, but it is not a x-ray they use to see the extent of the injury, but rather Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to see the extent of the muscle trauma...

Had a groin strain my self pick up playing Rugby and was treated with ultra sound and Ice... Even after the first session
it feel like nothing was wrong, so it would be quite easy to believe you are ok. Had the treatment twice a week along with physio...

As i said the Medical staff can only offer their best guess but it is down to the individual how long it takes to recover
Plus sometime it is a tweak (Strain) of the muscle and not actually a tear
Cheers, thanks for being polite about it too, unlike some people :f_whistle:

Swab, you said x-rays can't pick up muscle damage, it can. You were wrong.
I've since found out I was wrong and MRI scan is what is used over X-Rays. I can admit I was wrong. Can you shut up about it now? It's boring. Any more about it and you can join my ignore list.

That's the best reason I've seen to keep posting.

You've been told by an expert.
An x-ray is not the same as a CT scan, end of story.

At only 1 dollar, this would save the club a lot of overhead, which could then be used to sign Reus!

Klopp got everything right yesterday. Line up and subs were perfect. The defence seems to be letting in goals too much now though. I'd have gave Klopp MOTM if it were an option.

Can't believe the level Klopp has got the team to it's unbelievable and he's only just getting warmed up. Proud, excited, optimistic, confident, I am all of these things and more. To go toe to toe with City is a bigger achievement that some can actually grasp and we are bang there being a thorn in their side. I am blown away.

29 points ahead of Man U...Just look at the spend between the clubs since Klopps arrival.. no matter what happpens over the next 3 games this season has been a joy to watch with some squeaky bum times too..Next season I think we will be the team to beat, I can see us picking it up from where we leave it off this season..

Must now turn his thoughts to the Barca game and the line up. Probably hoping the Doc will clear Mo to play. But if Mo doesn't make it would he play Studge & Origi with Mane.

Could go with front 6: Hendo,Fabinho,Shaq,Mane,Studge,Origi. Brewster might make the bench.

We are a fantastic team now.
Just a bit more depth to add up front and we're set.

The best thing is how young our players are, and you can see we're only going to get better.
Add to that our will to win and how we always seem to find a way.

We're so good, that Guardiola changed his way of playing to get results against us.
Tht's some compliment when you think about it.

I love this man, his charisma, tactics, man managing, media handling... i just dont have a single bad word to say about him.

We are playing great with him, our defense is finally looking like a proper defense, and most of us are really happy with the transfers he made, but one thing just is not there, trophies...
I am willing to give him all the time in this world for trophies and i hope most of us think the same, we are on the verge of many major trophies in last couple of seasons and it is all because of this man.

I wish this man stays in charge of LFC for many years to come as i believe even if troubles come and we start playing badly he will identify the problem and find a solution, best "ordinary one" we could ever get.

Gutted he didn't give the travelling fans the 3 fist pumps. Thought it was thoroughly deserved. Depending on results, he might not have  another chance to do it this Season, but I'm hoping like F**k I see it 3 more times!
