Sure, I'm an outsider with no real sense of the importance of these add-on tournaments to the teams and their fans.
For me, only 2 trophies prove a team's worth...... CL & PL ....and everything else is just canned pie filler.

Mourinho's first trophy in England was the League Cup. Guardiola's first trophy in England was the League Cup. Klopp's first European final was the UEFA Cup, beating Dortmund and the mancs along the way. And people have the nerve to say that's not good enough.

We've won 1 trophy in 12 years. We are not in any position to say this trophy is great, and that trophy is not. I want to try and win everything we enter, because at least we might win something then. It's all silverware at the end of the day.

What a manager he is, now we need to transfer this huge improvement into success. We need to continue to improve and stay consistent. Klopp is the ideal manager to do so!

Loved his comment about how the other results today didn't really do anything for him. He really understands psychology of individuals, small groups and much larger groups. We can party at the end...in the meantime, stay focused.

Rafa knows the club is in good hands with Jürgen he will be one of the first to cheer if we go all the way.

We had a decent start to the season results wise, even though we didn’t play that well after a scintillating pre season. We have to get through the next 4 games with positive results to get part two of the season off to a good start also. Get them out of the way and I might start believing.
Not so yet, too many games left, and scared I’ll jinx it.
One at a time, then on to the next one.

just watching his journey to the Kop on LFCTV I don't think his attitude towards football has changed since he was about 7 years old.
He is such an interesting character to listen to.
Nothing has come to this man easy as a footballer or a manager but he always gets back up again dusts himself off and go again
