Billy I've already explained myself so not doing it again.  :D If I was a WUM I wouldn't of lasted 4,000 post and counting. Would of been banned long time ago. Plenty of Liverpool fans also agree he should of played a better side to get that first silverware for a long time. You going to call them WUMS to??

I don't think so, you're being slighted blinkered coz I'm a manc who also has a genuine opinion and most definitely not a WUM.

Well they must be deluded too, we have no birthright to silverware, the Boss picked the team which he believed would win the game, small margins saw we didn’t..The Boss priortised the league by resting our key players & gave those on the bench a run out..let’s win this one before we look at cups..& We were not guaranteed to win the competition either...We are in a very strong position in two very important competitions, I’ll have that thanks.

Not the answer i was expecting, but if that's all you can come up with then my mind is made up,
You stated in your post above you wanted to move on but yet you are still posting, still after a reaction, and still have a modicum of Wummery in my opinion,

I have respected your onions in the past Keith but on this occasion i believe for whatever reason your arguing for arguement's sake, plus I'm getting f***in bored with it to be honest,  so let's draw a line under it, and move on, I'm sure tho we will revisit in the not too distant future.

Think old rasherface was one of the first to deprioritise [pick your word] the Cup comps back in the day, so seems a bit rich to be poking at Jürgen about it.

We still don't have the depth that Citeh have, so Jürgen is doing what he thinks he needs to in order to compete for the title against a VERY strong squad. You guys don't have that to think about, so can play who you want in the Cup I guess ;)

Klopp kept his nerve at Brighton. We were frustrating to watch in the first half.I overreacted myself. Klopp made sure we were more direct in the second half. It's a calm head needed as we try to close in on the grail.

He will need luck with injuries. We will get injuries, be a miracle if we go thru without getting one of our key players going down. That is one of the positives with the FA cup exit.If a player gets injured it will be in a crucial game and not in a distraction from our main target.

It's not pretty but sometimes we just have to run opponents around, and wait for the mistake.
Brighton made very few mistakes, and but for some lax finishing they would have been punished more heavily for the ones they did make.

How do you work that out??

Alisson, Moreno, VVD, Matio, Gomez, Milner, Hendo, Keita, Shaqiri, Sturridge & Origi played that nite. His team against Wolves 3/4 reserves. Why do fans try and defend the indefensible??

Just except Klopp made a mistake, it's no big deal.

But he didn't make a mistake, he rested some players, we got knocked out the cup then won our next league game maintaining that gap we have at the top.

      So Klopp's decisions totally justified!!

When you think of where we were when he arrived, compared to now, the deals he's done, the quality players brought in, can't speak highly enough of what he's done.

Don't know what Jürgen said at half time, but it worked.
Got the 2 quick scores, and though it didn't wrap up the game, the momentum switched and got the crowd up.
Running out of ways to say 'well done boss'.

To go win the highest win percentage of any manager who has managed Liverpool in over 100 League games, Jürgen Klopp has also lost the fewest games for any Liverpool manager who has taken charge of 100 or more League games.

Klopp 20 defeats in 129 games.
Ashworth 25 defeats in 127 games.
Rodgers 29 defeats in 122 games.
Souness 34 defeats in 115 games.
Taylor 39 defeats in 143 games.
Evans 43 defeats in 172 games.
Benitez 47 defeats in 228 games.
Dalglish 51 defeats in 280 games.
Houllier 54 defeats in 216 games.

Shankly in 138 defeats 609 games.
Patterson 145 defeats in 366 games.
Watson 253 defeats in 678 games.

      He also has the healthiest record of how often he suffers defeat in the League;

Klopp 1 defeat every 6.45 games.
Paisley 1 defeat every 5.64 games.
Dalglish 1 defeat every 5.49 games.
Ashworth 1 defeat every 5.08 games.
Benitez 1 defeat every 4.85 games.
Shankly 1 defeat every 4.41 games.
Rodgers 1 defeat every 4.20 games.
Evans 1 defeat every 4 games.
Houller 1 defeat every 4 games.
Taylor 1 defeat ever 3.66 games.
Souness 1 defeat every 3.38 games.
McQueen 1 defeat every 3 games.

Looking at the list, we've had some great managers :)

One thing that comes to mind too is that I'd say a fair few of those managers inherited better teams than Jürgen, making the job he's done even more impressive.

The UEFA Cup final loss drove our recruitment.

The Champions League final loss drove our recruitment.

Just imagine the recruitment when we win the league..

Just been reported we have agreed to pay Buvac off and he'll no longer be employed by the club.

Still hard to decide exactly what happened but seems the importance of his absence was in the end overstated.

The UEFA Cup final loss drove our recruitment.

The Champions League final loss drove our recruitment.

Just imagine the recruitment when we win the league..

Chances are it would send us to a new level. We are an attractive proposition for most players already thanks to how far Klopp has already taken us, add a league title to that and we become even more attractive for players. Not to mention the financial benefits would really help push us on too. Mainly speaking in terms of our kits, our deal for a new kit manufacturer expires at the end of next season, we go into next season as league champions then there is every chance that we top the Mancs kit deal with Adidas IMO, whether that’s with Adidas or Nike I wouldn’t have a clue but that then gives us a lot more money for strengthening the team. There’s a lot riding on winning the league this year, win it and we could potentially get ourselves into a position where we can repeat this season next time around, and the time after that. Basically get to the level that City are now at.

Just been reported we have agreed to pay Buvac off and he'll no longer be employed by the club.

Still hard to decide exactly what happened but seems the importance of his absence was in the end overstated.

Too many rumors, and too many people sticking their noses in. I think the guys had personal \ family problems and had to go home.

Just my take on it, sometimes there is more important things in life than football and a job even.

      Quote from dunlop liddell shankly
To go win the highest win percentage of any manager who has managed Liverpool in over 100 League games, Jürgen Klopp has also lost the fewest games for any Liverpool manager who has taken charge of 100 or more League games. 20 defeats in 129 games. He also has the healthiest record of how often he suffers defeat in the League;1 defeat every 6.45 games.

And to think pundits, and unfortunately a handful of "fans", were comparing his win records to previous bosses barely 12 months ago, as evidence that he wasn't up to it.

It's less than 2 months since posters here were telling us, that he won't take us back to the top.

We are now 4 points clear.
