Back to Melwood for the boss and co tomorrow.

Still over a month till our first game of the season but for Jürgen, day 1 is tomorrow. Here's hoping that all his hard work and commitment pays off in spectacular style come the end of the season.

Good to have him and our team back on the fields.

To right mate, there is obviously plenty of sport on the tele to tide us over until the season starts but I can't wait for it to get under way & if it wasn't for the WC I'd be crawling the walls.

Never seen players beam with smiles when they see their gaffer after a long break.

Hopefully we're all smiling come season's end.

He certainly is cut from a different cloth. Watching the players come back and him hugging everyone, it makes you want to be a part of it.

Let the Klopp/Sturridge speculation start here: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/daniel-sturridge-given-fresh-hope-14879789

Good comments as usual from the boss. One minor thing, he says (or perhaps jokes) that maybe Chester could use the money from today on the pitch. But I doubt he will find too many pitches in UK at this time of year and with recent weather patterns, that in top condition. You could see the club tried to water the pitch before the game and during the break, but it can't be helped if it is windy out.

      F**k he cracks me up.

Anyone see the training video of all the lads doing laps and then feeling exhausted and they, being Jürgen and the rest of the staff, asking Milny to do one more lap? Milny starts jogging off and Klopp turns to the cameraman and says something along the lines of (sorry can't remember what he actually said)  can you speed up the video to make him look like he runs faster just in case any one out there is watching?

Had me in F***ing stitches.  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sturridge looking good in pre season is great, maybe we can trick somebody into taking him on loan for a season to pay his wages before he gets injured in the opening game of the season.

Pep Guardiola bought Bravo. It didn't work. Spent big on Ederson. A factor in winning the league.

Jürgen has bought Karius and he has had more than enough chances. Time to earn your wages Jürgen.

To be fair, I said we needed a new goalkeeper as soon as Mignolet signed for us, I could tell be the way he was holding the pen.

      Goalkeeper world record fee
      Defender world record fee
Club transfer record reset 5 times in 12 months.

*awaits jibes of "financial doping/buying the league" from rivals*.

If Klopp was sacked after the calls for it to happen following the trip to Spurs last season, I wonder who the new goalkeeper would be now. Sorry, I already know:

"Liverpool FC are pleased to announce the signing of Joe Hart on loan until the end of the season".
