      2nd now...
My point is that unbeaten means f**k all in the case where winning is is the gold
City  are also unbeaten and are 2 points a head..
Spurs sit in 3rd, three points behind us and have lost 3 games

Unbeaten means f**k all unless you win the Premier League

I think you’re the only one talking about the ins and outs of an unbeaten season though aren’t you? I haven’t seen anyone mention it until you’re ludicrous comment about being unbeaten and finishing 5th.

City are top after smashing all kinds of records last season and (I think) have now had the best ever start to a PL season.

To be only 2 points off, having played City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs is not the end of the world. With the derby to be done and dusted this weekend.

The sad thing is, you’re just waiting for us to lose to stick the boot in and criticize when by any objective measure we have had a fantastic start.

‘Unbeaten means F**k all if we don’t win the league’, well we haven’t won the league for 30 years, so have you never enjoyed any football for the last 30 years? If so, might be time to give it up.

Yep and predicting a 5th or 6th place finish after an unbeaten season means you’re an hyperbolic idiot.

F**k me there’ll all at it
Unbeaten means not losing yes...?? so we draw then next 35  games we are still unbeaten and would amass a total of 68 pts...
Last season that would have seen us end up 5th in the table...

Did notice though you mentioned nothing about it could see us in 4th place  :f_whistle:

I as much as anyone else here want to see us lift the title, so wanting to see us lose so i can stick the boot in...??

A little story... I was the fastest swimmer in my school over 50 meters, no one could get near me I was that fast... Sadly the races were over a 100 meters or better which would leave me 12-14 quickest

A fantastic start is well come, but it is where we end up at the end

There has been some great nights and great victories in the last 30 years but The Title is the holy grail for me it is as simple as that for me

But your point remains ludicrous. You are dismissing our start on the basis of ‘it’s the league that counts’, but by any measure we have to be exceptional to win the league this year given city’s form and we are keeping pace. So if it is about the league, we are showing the form to be there by seasons end, regardless of how good you once were at swimming.

I don’t understand what more you want to see from the team, especially if it is about winning the league as we are clearly title contenders at this point. The future is ifs and buts, in the here and now we have shown title contending form so what is your issue?

I'd say we have around 25% chance of winning the league this year.
City 30%, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal  around 15% each.

We have been luck in lot of our games this season, and to bang on about been unbeaten, as if we have done so with out any luck is delusional... 13 games in and being unbeaten is nothing with the form both Arsenal and Spurs have been showing recently.

Beside showing your title contenders and winning the title are very different things... If it makes you or anyone else happy to be unbeaten at this very early stage of the season I'm happy for you (truthfully) Me. I'll take it for what I see it as... A decent start is all

So, a combined total of 115%

You don't understand percentages, do you.

edit, my bad, for some reason I counted 4 teams at 15% hahaha < best step away from the widow.

      30+25+45=100
      15*3=45.

      30 Liverpool
      25 City
      15 Arsenal
      15 Spurs
      15 Chelsea

      Tens

      30+20+10+10=80
      Units 5+5+5+5=20

      80+20=100.

      or algebraically.

      a = 15 b=25 c=30

What gives city a 30% chance, what is the breakdown of how you worked out their 30% chance.

      Same with LFC 25%

Same with the 3 at 15%

What is the criteria here for their various percentage chances?
How did you arrive at that breakdown and those points?

      Your opinion?
