From the study at a Germany University

"Experts believe that red could make individuals and teams feel more confident as well as being perceived by others as more aggressive and dominant.

So, which one of you guys are also experts?

haha. It is nothing about luck.
Research shows playing in red is more successful.
Red has a psychological effect from looking more dangerous.
I mean, white? it is not a farcry from Pink.

I obviously assumed Liverpool has schools and the population was educated.

I'm not English yet I supported them fully tonight.

Indeed very poor tactics tonight from Southgate.
He showed f**k all when the set pieces didn’t deliver, relying on Raheem’s pace to get a free kick or pace.

Hopefully he can learn from this as England do have talented players to call up.

Liverpool have spoilt us though. We are used to watching attacking, pressing football. Then we watch that tonight and it's difficult to bear it.

Looking forward to watching the proper reds again soon!!

He has to look at why England's performances drop off fairly rapidly in the second half compared to their first half performances.

I think Tim Vickery on the BBC said that Harry Winks could be that man so it will be interesting to see how he develops for Tottenham and England.

I think England had the same "problem" as us in midfield. Henderson is an exceptional/world class industrial player, but a footballer he is not and struggles to get control when in possession against a good footballing midfield. Then you had Lingard and Alli who are not creative and more attacking midfield runners than controllers.  If England had more control of the ball, it would have been Croatia looking the tired team, not England.

I agree with Winks too, have always been impressed with him and no doubt he would have ended up in the England squad and possibly first 11 if he had been fit.

I would say I feel a bit shocked he didn't change things going into a Croatian 4-3-3.
3 at that back just is not okay against that.

I think he has shown that he hasn't enough flexibility.

      It was 3 5 2 or nothing.

Coming up against sides like Croatia with this England squad needs a bit more thought about how to change the game.

Slavan Bilic was spot on after the game when he talked about how this was the first time Croatia came up against 3 at the back and it took them 45 mind to work it out but after half time they had it sussed.

Yeah, but I still think it is totally stupid to change from red to white.
I am not saying it is the end all, but when relying on luck or anything... doing small things can tip the balance.
My point is, it is better to have 55% chance of winning instead of 54.9%.. thin margins an all.
We likely would have still lost, but I said before the game I didn't want to change shirt colour.
